An Illustrated Field Guide to the Elements and Principles of Art + Design

This guide helps me compose and design my artwork (oil painting and photography). It’s good to use for considering alternative design ideas, and to occasionally help break through a creative ‘slump’.

This book quickly and intelligently groups all the good stuff for design and composition; I intend to use this in many of my classes. Good read.

This is a fantastic, very succinct, guide to the basics. As close to a cheat sheet as you can get, but in book form.

I bought this for my daughter’s college class and it came in time for her to do all her assignments and hand them in on time.

I was looking for a very thin summary of Principles of Art and Design so that I could carry that book around in a field. I required that the book needs to be colorful, with intuitive graphics, big fonts, and complete. OMG, this book ticks all the boxes. I just loved it, I find it very useful for my needs.

A book that contains condensed information about design and aesthetic principles.

Barely 50 pages of poor quality concept sketches, that are extremely rudimentary and printed in super larger sized font. Nothing that justifies the premium price tag of Rs 1750. Shouldn’t even cost 100 bucks. Don’t even think of wasting your hard earned money on this joke.
