Baldwin Arch, Single Cylinder Front Door Deadbolt Featuring SmartKey Re-key Technology and Microban Protection, in Satin Nickel

This deadbolt is very attractive. It takes a standard product and adds a flair of class. It was easy to install and easy to use. Very substantial material quality. Doesn’t feel cheap and breakable. I really like the rekey feature too. I wasn’t sure about that at first but after I saw how easy it was I’m not sure I’d be happy with anything else. I’ll definitely be buying more when I get around to replacing my other deadbolts.

One of my friend working with construction company suggested me this lock when I needed a reliable dead bolt.For last 5 months I have been using it. (I have purchased it on February 18, 2012.)There is no any doubt about its reliability unlike other reviews wrote that Baldwin locks broke very soon.I have installed it on the front door, so you can imagine that on daily basis I need to lock it unlock it. And I haven't had any problem so far.More over because of design it looks very elegant added with robust safety.Its upper and lower arch covers door hole very well.(hole that holds inner portion of lock)So its very hard for burglars to break lock by accessing door hole. (one of my friend was unfortunate that burglars tampered lock by some instruments to manipulate inner hole and eventually had burglary)Added to benefits, it had smart key options. So you do not need to worry about re keying the lock.Also lock is backed with Lifetime warranty on mechanics and finish.What could I write more than this?I short, this is really best lock within specific price range from reliable company.

I replaced all the door hardware in my house with Baldwin. They are all built like a tank and astatically pleasing. I get complements on them all the time. This dead bolt is no exception. Easy DIY installation. Love it and highly recommend it over other similar locks like Schlage. Smart key is also a nice bonus. Turning the know is buttery smooth.

We bought the deadbolt as a match for the Baldwin Arched knob for our new front door. The Baldwin locks are far superior to lock sets found in most box stores. You definitely do not want to drop this on your toe! It's very heavy. The tolerances are very tight; there's definitely no wiggle between the moving parts. I re-keyed using the smartkey, it to match the knob.I can also attest to Baldwin's Customer Service. When we received the keyed entry door knob, one of the mounting screws was missing. I called Baldwin; the CS associate kept me on the telephone until she pulled the screw, packaged it, and had the label on it. I received it from CA (I'm in WV) in 2 days. You cannot beat that type of service.I've decided to replace the other 2 doors with Baldwin hardware.

The Camaby SmartKey line appears to be a well designed and manufactured door knob set.The ability to re-key the locks yourself is a BIG plus and saves money.You also have the ability to rotate the key slot 180° yourself, so the left hand and right hand lock's key can be inserted with the flat side either up or down.I recommend both Baldwin Canaby door knobs and Amazon for their low price.

Sturdy. Easy to install. Looks elegant

Nice match for my newly purchased Satin Nickel Handset. Note that this lock can only be key-matched with Baldwi’s SmartKeys so I could not key-match with the previous Baldwin Key that I was replacing. I did not realize this when I ordered, however this was my mistake. I had a couple of standard key blanks cut at my local Walmart for $2.27 each. They work great. So this s not a big problem, however, I do like the form factor of the Baldwin keys.

These are milled billet handles, not hollow. The SmartKey worked perfectly on a dozen sets.
