Used this to help my son at home with his school math.

There's nothing wrong with this book or its methods at all. I have no idea what other reviewers complaints are referring to. The examples are completely devoid of any and all political context. Please tell me what is political about John cutting a cake into 18 pieces and giving 1/6 of the cake to his friends, then asking what percentage of the cake remains? Explanations are many and clear. As a parent, I can now help with the dreaded new math
