Necessity lid to replace a old broken Tupperware lid. Tupperware DOES NOT offer any help for replacements any longer. Thank heavens for Amazon!!

I bought a huge set of extra-large Tupperware containers 30 years ago. Perfect for storing large quantities of flour, sugar, dry lentils, rice, small containers of things like herbs, spices and flavorings for baking and cooking, (I'm a major cook and baker and go through a lot of flour and sugar in particular). And I also use the big ones for storing batches of muffins, wrapped fresh cuts of beef for future cooking, etc., and for big batches of cookies to freeze or to send home with the grandchildren. The point is that I have A LOT of these big Tupperware containers, I use them constantly and sometimes they spend time in the freezer. The original lids have been breaking at the edges because of repeated use in the freezer but the containers themselves continue to be perfect--and perfectly usable. So I don't mind paying the high price to extend the life of these terrifically useful containers. The original lids lasted at least 20 years. I'll be dead before these new ones wear out.

Perfect fit on my 30 year old Tupperware. I love my Tupperware for storing homemade cookies. When the lid finally cracked I was upset. After all these years who would still sell the lids! I AM THRILLED TO HAVE MY TUPPERWARE BACK!

Read other reviews and based on stated measurement wasn't sure it would fit.Well packaged, brand new lid. Bit stiff yet but it should soften with use.Very happy can keep using my 30 year old tupperware.Note It fits #2 18 cup container.

Replacement lid for my 20yo Tupperware fits nice and snug
