PTV-2000 4 Channel VHF Wireless System.
Good morning everyone. Today I will be reviewing the PTV-2000 4 Channel VHF Wireless System.Let me start by saying this is an entry level unit and not designed to be used professionally in a road gig situation. IMOAs always this unit came beautifully packaged with everything needed to set up and use. Yesterday we had an event for a memorial service and was able to use the lapel set up in this pack for the speakers. This unit worked beautifully with zero problems. We were outdoor and has no issues. While setting up we also used the handheld mics that are included. Those have a great sound , even comparable to my Sennheiser mice which are at a much higher price point. The clarity and fullness of sound was exceptional. They are very lightweight but with that there is a tendency to get a noise from them if you tap them of say if you were trying to clap and sing there would be a popping noise. For the price point of this setup you cant go wrong getting these for use in , churches, banquet halls, DJing, or corporate settings. on thing for me was the fact that it doesn't come with the hardware to set up in a rack systems, for DJ's and even churches this would help keep everything neat and accessible.I would definitely recommend this product needing a versatile unit for multifunctional uses.Phenyx Pro continues to impress with the level of functionality and quality they bring to every system they put out.4/5 Stars on this one

Simple yet powerful
I got to test out this bad boy and I was honestly skeptical on how it would preform.I've used the PDP-2 and the PTU-2U which are a a higher caliper than this set so I wasn't expecting much. I will say I am actually quite impressed. The setup with this system is beyond simple and easy. Each microphone / mic pack is designated to one of the 4 lines. As you turn on each mic, the light that corresponds with it's channel will light up on the receiver. This is a VHF frequency set, so they are on fixed frequency and can't be changed.Packaging is generic, but overall nice. Comes iwth the instruction manual, warranty info, and excellent foam packaging for storing.Receiver is metal and feels great. The mic's feel cheap and are all plastic except for the grill - in comparison to others I've used from Phenyx Pro - but don't be fooled. These mics are VERY clear and have a solid connection. Bass is definitely present in the sound. And you do get a bit of handheld noise.Having the body packs is an added bonus. These are great for doing interviews or for livestream. Hookup to a camera from the received is a breeze and has a 1/4 to 3.5 adapter.Battery life is awesome. Used this for 4+ hours and didn’t skip a beat. There are no screens that aid in draining the battery so this should last a long time on fresh batteries.Antennas are basic metal, but adjustable rotation and extendable. If you're looking for a straightforward, lower cost wireless mic system, this is it.

Work Very Well
We have been using this product at our church for our service and events for the past few months. So far it works really well and sound quality is loud and clear. You can work with this product out of the box. The mics required some adjusting to suit our needs at first but once we got things settled in, it was smooth sailing from there. Do suggest getting XLR cables, which does not come with the product, but the transmitter had the outlets for them. This helped to adjust the individual mic channels better. We had an issue with one microphone that was not working well at all when we got it. Customer service dealt with the issue and was quite helpful in securing a replacement for us. Overall, great product.

Phenyx Pro Wireless Microphone System, 4-Channel VHF Wireless Microphone Set
Phenyx Pro Audio PTV-2000 4 Channel VHF Wireless SystemWhat an amazing package with such diversity.2 Cordless handheld microphones2 Wireless transmitter packs2 Headset Microphones2 Lavilier MicrophonesSuper excited for this opportunity to review this product.I previously purchased the Drum Microphone kit as shown below and was pleased with my purchase and the quality of the microphones, so I am honored to have this opportunity to give my review.Granted, drum microphones are a little different than a vocal microphone, however, below is my review. The Wireless Receiver UnitIn my review of this model I have given both things I liked and some recommendations or identified options that were missing that I feel would improve the package. No Rack Mount options for the unit. States 4 Channel, however although there are 4 inputs there are only 2 Channel Outputs A and B which could be clarified in the advertising Each Channel is preassigned either to the Handheld Microphone or the Wireless Transmitter pack. If you are running into a mixing board, you have no control over the channel A or B Signal. If it is being shared and if one of those shared needs more eq or reverb than the other, it is only the two outputs not 4 individual outputs. The Cordless Handheld Microphone It has a really dark sound which I like but does not have a lot of brightness to it. I like the fact of having the mute switch and the off switch, but it can be switched easily without knowing it if you are performing and if it switches accidentally, that is a down side. The Lavalier Microphones Seem to have a faraway sound to them and not as clear, and hard to get a good signal on them based on that they are a clip on and trying to capture the voice without holding it directly and speaking into it. These use the wireless transmitters and the signal on the main unit needs to be really pushed to get a good signal and gain output. They seem good for speaking presentation, however not great for vocal musical performance. The Head Set Microphones The headsets are the main reason I wanted this set more than anything. Very disappointed. The Head set part does not fit very well and no adjustments are available, it is what it is. No Headroom at all. The Capsule is super-hot and gives distortion on the voice which makes it unclear what you are trying to capture. I thought it was just too much signal so turned the main input down all the way and only went one click at a time, and it was still distorted. Similar to the Lavalier, it is good for speaking but not for vocal musical performance. The Wireless Transmitter They seem durable and has a good distance on the pack to the main receiver. The one thing I would like to see is to have an In Ear Headphone output on the transmitter as well having, everything all in one.Final Thought and Rating3 out of 5 based on application and knowing this is a great entry level setup for the price point. All in all, this is a Great entry level kit, good for churches or conference centers that need an inexpensive system that is contained. I do not recommend this unit as suitable for a band or active performing act. Maybe a singer songwriter duo that is not doing too much movement or activity with the microphones or units.
