Best equipment to unclog tub drain
Great find! First of all I received it in one day.. so I cannot complain. My tub was slow draining and the disposable plastic tools was not long enough. This tool was easy to use and got the job done. The clog was my daughters hair.. gross.

Amazing product and very reasonable price
This product worked great. I tried everything from Drano to plastic snakes to baking soda and vinegar combination and nothing worked. The clog in our shower drain was very hard and deep about 10 to 12 feet deep in the pipes. This product did the job. It was a little tricky in the beginning, but after a little bit of persistence and following instructions, I was able to get a whole big blog of gunk out in about 15 minutes. The picture only shows half of it. The other half was wrapped up in paper towels that I pulled out from the auger. Definitely recommend this product.

Cheaply made but fine for occasional use
So, for the price this item is OK and will get you out of a bind but understand it's made from really cheap thin plastic so not going to hold up to as the label says "professional use". You can see the handle is an outline with a thin inner piece (not comfortable at all to hold) In the photo of the back panel you can kind of tell it's thin by the fact that the panel is wavy. That all being said, the metal spring portion is descent and does actually work and that is the important part for occasional use, even when (rather than if) the handle were to break off you could still use this just it would be a lot harder..So, do I recommend it? Yes, if you just want to get out of a tight situation. As an example I recently paid a plumber $200 to snake a paper towel out of the toilet (that a guest flushed for some reason) and this would have paid for itself if I had it then. My sister uses my shower and the drain gets slow after a month due to hair going down (tried products to stop the hair but they all failed) and this would make it easy to get that clog out.

Works well on sinks
This product is well suited for sinks. They even include a pair of gloves.

Save Your Money
I expected the Drainsoon 25 ft drain auger to be a handy drain-cleaning tool, but instead I found it deeply disappointing. Within minutes of use, the cable stopped feeding or retracting properly—seemingly detached inside the housing—and fixing it meant stripping the drum apart and wrestling tangled wire for over an hour. Now it’s essentially unusable—I can’t rely on the handle, and storage has become a mess. The cable material feels flimsy, bending or twisting under minimal pressure, especially when trying to reach deeper clogs. It struggled to navigate tight bends or narrow openings, making it nearly impossible to push past typical p‑traps in kitchen or shower drains. Some users on forums confirmed that it often fails in real-world scenarios—twisting around itself rather than advancing, or refusing to go deeper than a few feet. The included gloves are one-size-fits-all and rarely fit smaller or larger hands comfortably. They slip off easily or feel awkward during use.Overall, while the price is tempting, the tool feels under-built and unreliable. If you're dealing with a simple clog, a cheap plastic tool might even outperform this auger. For anything serious—or to avoid wasting time—it’s better to skip this model and consider renting a better-quality snake or calling a plumber instead.

Ok
Did it's job. Not very heavy duty. Good in a pinch. Ended up upgrading to something sturdier seeming from home Depot

Easy to use
Honestly better than what I was expecting and easy to use. This will definitely help out your drains whether you own or rent.

A perfect tool with gloves to clear the drain
After reviewing many choices, because of it's design and durability, this snake worked in the same manner that the electronic versions have worked when I hired plumbers. The key to any plumbing snake is the length. The longer the better because of the reach. In my case it was enough because of bendability, design, and speed. . The fact that it comes with reusable gloves is great. You will need them . This isn't a clean job but you will be satisfied with the equipment because of how easy it was to use and the results. No matter the hair catching system you have, it doesn't catch everything but this tool does. You can also use disposable gloves but remember you are dealing with a metal snake so make sure they are like plumbing gloves.
