My oldest is going to use it to learn French, but it could be used for any language.There is a place for writing the English word and the Foreign Language. Some pages are Animals, movie time, create your own comics, transportation, human body...I love the book so much that I would like one too!

Super excited to add this to our foreign language studies. I'm sure my 11 year old would do good with this but THIS copy is for mama! Talkbox.momand One Third Stories is working put great for family learning but this journal will take both to a more "mature" level. This has been one of my daughters favorite way to learn another language this year. She is using it to learn Spanish this year. I am planning on buying it again next year when she decides to learn a different language.I recommend it for your homeschool language course.

What a great way to get your kids digging deep into their foreign language studies! This book covers so many commonly used words/phrases/topics of ANY foreign language you want to study and, of course, it’s fun!!! I highly recommend!

**I received this book in exchange for my honest opinion. **I cannot express enough just how lovely this book is. The way it’s laid out it allows your child to write the word in their native language and then in the language they’re learning. The beautiful part is, it’s set up for even the youngest foreign language learner to benefit from it. I have a high schooler working on Spanish and this book fits in nicely with what we’re working on. I am certain you won’t be disappointed with this. I will say, this book is unlike the others from Thinking Tree, and really dine in such wonderful taste (although I do very much enjoy all of them).It asks for specifics like words about electronics, emotions, foods, house items, movies, and so many other things.We also appreciate that this one is secular and can be used no matter your religious affiliation or lack there of. This one is a must for extra help or homeschool learners.

Utterly pointless waste of time and money. Teaches basically nothing. It’s nothing more than a guided journal you have to do all the work and research for. It’s basically just a glorified coloring book combined with a blank large journal. Wish we could return it!

Bummed. We ordered a lot of funschooling books and my daughter doesn’t like them. I wasn’t impressed either.
