Natural Hatchery Dust Prepared Fishing Bait, Brown

Stocked Rainbow Trout love this stuff...will also get Catfish bites too...see pics; just started fishing this year local ponds being stocked by TPWD & asked guy how he got limit & told me about "Hatchery Dust" on Amazon. Got it immediately & WOW what a difference!!! I used to catch none to 1 fish per day using live, artificial, & plain Powerbait, but now catching STRINGERS!!! Does good with YELLOW Powerbait; THE TRICK: I mash a pinch into the bait ball (as ball dissolves dust still gives off scent), put on #8 hook, then dip in water to wet & crust the entire outside of bait ball...fish hits within 10-20 MINUTES!!! For first time in my life now other fisherman are asking ME, "Hey, what bait are you using?" & I do tell them, "Hatchery Dust on Amazon!!!" CAUTION: if you using 2 poles to fish (allowed in Texas), be prepared to be reeling a fish in while other pole starts popping & good luck trying to set hook while not losing other pole in water!!! ENJOY! :-))

This is a great great product. My daughter caught her first fish and it was a cat fish. I love this product and i going to buy all the different flavors. Just bought another one but a larger bottle with more garlic flavor.

Maybe 3 stars is unfair or too many. I say this because I put this stuff on some powerbait with a bit of garlic oil and zero takers. Then I decided to roll it into some powerbait and still no bites not even a sniff. On my next try I used power bait with garlic oil no dust and was getting hits. So my theory is this brought the trout over but wasn't on the hook at the time of the day they became active? I am still going to try it next outing.The lake is trout planted every 2 weeksPowerbait used was extra scented garlic green/orangeGarlic oil was Bite on4lbs test lineSize #8 bait hook

it's okay to use on trout???

Trial 1:I used this over a week, fishing was very hot and I and anyone using the correct set-up was limiting out. Tested side by side against powerbait of same color (1 rolled in this, one not) we both limited out in approximately 4 hours. I'm not sure on this stuff, maybe try it again when the bite is harder, might be good for using up last seasons powerbait.Trial 2:I tried this out with a buddy on Riffe lake in Washington. We both used Powerbait dough, I rolled mine in the dust, he did not. 4 hours of fishing and he caught 4 trout, I caught 1. I don't believe that this works.Conclusion:They are right, it should be illegal or at least the claims they make should be.

When i saw this on the web i totally didn't expect it to work. My husband and I have gotten suckered by many fishing gadgets and such that were awful and did not do what they said they would. But I am glad to say this one really works and on all species of carnivorous fish. We have been pleasantly surprised and will buy again as needed. Works in rivers, lakes and ponds.. havent used it in ocean waters yet, but will soon....

I caught a 20" 3 lb. Rainbow Trout in less than one minute of casting in my bait with Hatchery Dust. It was my first cast of the day. I ended the two hour fishing session with 4 more fish from 13 to 15 " in length. I missed setting the hook on three others. This stuff should be illegal!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This product was used for several hours in the same spot 4 trout were cought a week earlier at a local lake. The hatchery dust was applied to several types of trout "power bait" without any results. I'll continue using it and try it with other baits.

Don't waste your money on this gimmick 😐

My husband says this is what his fishing friends use so we'll see next summer if it works.
