Don't waste your money
I ordered this for my 2001 Yamaha v Star 1100 I put it on took it for a half hour drive and by the time I got back it was already overcharging my battery to 17 volts it is a brand new battery so I contacted the seller and they sent me a new one I shipped the old one back the replacement for the first one was installed took it for a hour drive checking it every 20 minutes and it was fine until I got home when I put it away and checked it again again it was over 17 volts being put out returning this one as well ended up ordering a OEM because that's not worth messing up my bike anymore over these cheap parts

Failed 30 mins or less riding
Fit great great price and worked at first thought I was good to go made it 45 mins down road and bike lost all power this and died my original one kept it running just lost lights and gauges this part must have failed in under 30 mins for batttery to drain that bad bought next replacement from bike shop for 4x the price but atleast it stays working and gets me back home
