Right out of the package it seems to be great.Fits over my badlands 12,000 winch like it’s made for it. Very snug and the material seems to be good thick quality.It rained immediately after I installed it so I checked and it’s dry underneath it. Worth the money. Hope it saves me from replacing corroded wires and corroded solenoids due to weather exposure.

I initially ordered this cover to prevent my winch from getting debris on it, and the UV protection. And it does do just that. It seems like a durable enough material for covering and uncovering the winch. No damage or holes came in the product. Only reason it’s got a 4 star from me, is because it was just a little too tight when getting on. The band could be a little stretchier and it woulda been perfect. However with a little bit of strength, I got it on my Smittybilt X20 10,000lb winch and it fits it well once I get that elastic around it. Overall, looks well, does well, and does its job with protecting the winch.

Seems to be good material (time will tell) but it’s too big for my Badlands Apex Long Drum 5500lb winch. Still covers it but not snug at all.

I've purchased two of these to cover the 12k winches on the front of my Jeeps. Tight fit, perfect UV protection for my synthetic ropes. 1 has been on full time for over a year so far with no degradation. Couldn't ask for anything better at this price point.

It does what it's designed to do, which is to cover my winch and protect it from dirt and debris. The elastic does a good job of keeping it secure at highway speeds and it fits my 12.5K winch with plentyof room. I wouldn't consider it a heavy duty piece, but for the price that's to be expected. I've had mine for a year and a half and it has started to fade and degrade with the winch engagement handle recently breaking through the material.
