Shuts my 6l compressor off at 8bar,
I have a Dewalt 6L 8bar / 116psi DPC6MRC-GB compressor, the pressure release valve started opening prematurely releasing half the air out of the tank when the pressure reached 8bar,This uxcell Safety Valve Air Compressor Pressure Relief Valve, G1/4 Male fitted & worked all day without problems,I gave it 4 stars only because it has only just been installed so how long it will last we'll have to see, but at the moment for £5 it was well worth the purchase.

Unsure of effectiveness
The item appears to be as well manufactured as the one i replaced, which had started to release early at around 105 psi (according to my budget compressors pressure gauge). This one cured that fault, and the compressor now cuts out before the valve releases. However, I increased the pressure to 140psi and it still did not release. I wasn't able to increase the cutoff switch any further and didn't feel it sensible to bypass it, so i have to assume that it would release early enough to prevent a catastrophic failure should the cutoff switch cease to function correctly. It was, however, very inexpensive, so i can't fault that.
