Certified Academic Clinical Nurse Educator (CNEcl) Review Manual – A Systematic CNEcl Review Book, Includes a CNEcl Practice Exam and Essential Knowledge Designated by NLN

This book is exactly what educators need to prepare for the CNEcl exam! The quizzes at the end of each chapter are tremendously helpful. I passed the certification exam on the first attempt and I owe it to this book.

Good book to review for the CNEcl (considering it's the only one). I passed on the first attempt (yay!).

Time will tell if I pass this exam, but the book is excellent.

Average. Honestly, I was expecting more detail and application related to the test content. This covers the basics, experience as an educator should be enough to get you across the finish line.POSITIVES:-Readable format-Easy to complete in a few days-Plenty of practice questionsNEGATIVES:-Price-Test questions are WEAK and I noted numerous errors in content, accuracy of answer choices. Disappointing.Overall, it’s okay. Supplement with the NLN practice exam for true mastery. The next edition of this book needs to be edited more closely.

I was given suggestions by many people on what to use to prepare for the CNE exam. Some of the sources were actually not very good (and the information conflicted with NLN's practice exams). However, this book was excellent. Using this book and Caputi's is all you need. I passed and do not believe I would have without these 2 books.

A coworker lended me this book to help prepare for the CNEcl. The book has many typos and inconsistencies with questions in the chapters and answer key in the back. For a review book related to a certification in academia, you would think they would have done a better job editing. Honestly, doing practice questions from the NLN, teaching experience, and completing a solid MSN-Ed program is better help for passing the exam, in my opinion.
