The firmness of product was good, but I need support in the front as my head usually drops forward while flying. I tried using this by reversing the opening but did not like the fit. I did ask for a refund.

The contoured shape of this pillow seemed as if it would provide more comfort than the traditional round shape. For me, it did not. I will say the item is well made and the materials seem to be good quality, it just was not a great fit for me. (I would have returned it, but I used it on two flights already.) Comfort is a subjective element, and you may find this perfect for you.
