Good deal and easy to use
They keyboard is rather amazing. It is small, but large enough to easily hit the keys. It has a back light that comes on if you like only when you touch the keys. Because the key board is small, it save space by having an extra function keys to provide extra functions for a number of keys. Those extra keys are placed in places that you might expect. The battery is said to last 6 months with an average of two hours use per day. I found that it was easy to use even in composing a long document. I paid less that $21. Great deal1

Great Customer Service - Keyboard DOES work with Raspberry Pi 3 Model B
If you read my previous review, ignore it. I received a defective keyboard, as the replacement works just fine as a basic keyboard for my Raspberry Pi 3 using RASPIAN PIXEL out of the box. The function keys don't appear to work out of the box on a basic PIXEL install, but that's fine; it'd be a nice bonus but certainly neither expected nor anything I'd deduct a star for. It's quite light, and pretty easy to type on for a keyboard of that size. The light does turn off after a few seconds, but it comes back on when you start using the keyboard. The delay I experienced previously, and the shutting off after a few seconds, is not present in the second one. The first one, the one with the problem, was received in a brown box. The second one, which is working fine, came in a white and grey box with a cellophane window on the front of the package. While the brown box looks nice and is evocative of quality, and the white/grey box seems cheap, the keyboards appear identical and are attractive in their own right. It looks very much like brushed black anodized aluminum, but they are actually plastic yet they don't feel flimsy nor cheaply made. The backlighting has several options, not just the three primary colors, and are very nice.At $20, I'd be pleased with the purchase for a tablet or for a home entertainment center that didn't need a mouse or touchpad. For my Raspberry Pi project, it's not quite what I need (frankly it's too easy to steal) but it does work for its basic functions on it just fine.ARTECK has fantastic customer service, which solidly placed the new keyboard in 5-star territory. They care about the product and the feedback they receive. On their own they replaced the keyboard immediately after seeing my first review without waiting for a replacement.I cannot comment on the battery life, but other keyboards I have had with this type have had battery lives measured - at a minimum - of several hours if not days, and standby batteries of months on end. I do expect the same of this keyboard even with the backlight since the backlight does turn off quickly.[Previous UPDATE: added a star for customer service. On their own, ARTECK responded with a code to replace the keyboard quickly to replace the first one I have. As soon as it arrives, I will charge it and see if it works with the Raspberry Pi. I promised to update this as soon as I know. ]

Small and Functional A-
My own purchase as we transition from remote to office. I'm not an easy grader, and have used this about 2 months before reviewing. While some people still use a full sized keyboard when their laptop is docked, I just never have. I am a 2-display (extended) and laptop keyboard kind of person. I can barely use a regular sized keyboard anymore. I have 2 PC's, one for the office and one for the home office. Home office is an old Surface Pro 2. The keyboard on the SP2 stopped working and I started looking for a replacement. I do a fair amount of typing for work, such as emails, how-to guidelines, and vendor contracts. So, I bought this hoping it would replace it and give me the same feel as a laptop keyboard. Well, this is my bad, however this keyboard is smaller than I expected. That's not too say it isn't a good keyboard, just be prepared that the look and feel might take a little getting used to. I have not done anything with adjustments, so this eval is based on bluetooth connect plug and play. Yes, need to hit Fn with some other keys (like Esc) to function properly. Your mileage may vary depending on your preferences.Pros: Some may like the size for portability. Holds a charge all day, and blue tooth connect was nice and easy. I like the fact it takes little desk space and I can move it around. Lighting is awesome. It's really a nice little keyboard.Cons: Size may be a little small for some, keys are also smaller. Need to "wake up" the keyboard using the shift key when logging into the PC from a locked state lest a password error first try. Easy to tell when it is awaken because of keyboard lights.Summary: If you're looking to get something small and portable, this is a recommended option. While this didn't exactly fit my needs, it might be a viable option to replace or augment a tablet sized device. Solid 4 star or A minus.
