I was skeptical that the microphone would work with Bose QC35 because the cable that came with the headphones (and the replacement cable on the Bose website) only show Tip-Ring-Sleeve, not Tip-Ring-Ring-Sleeve. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the microphone work. Now if the battery level is low, I can still use the same headphones...just tethered via cable until I have time to recharge them.I used the cable on my computer and the volume control on the cable didn't work, but I'm okay with that. Definitely work the investment.

The sound quality is good, I like the longer cord, and the compatibility with my Bose Acoustic Noise Cancelling QuiteComfort 25 headphones works well, the quality and workmanship of the cords seem to be top-of-the-line, and have an ease of use factor with this product. Thank you!

I bought this to use my Bose QC 35’s as a mic for my Xbox one. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it sounds great. Mic quality is pretty good, and I don’t get any cracking or disruptions when I move it. The only down side is that I can’t use the volume controls on the wire when connected to the controller. I’m sure they work when connected to a phone though. I’ve been gaming a lot these past few weeks so I’ve used them almost everyday. So far it’s been working great, I’ll update in a month or so.After using this product for over 3 months, I’ve found that for the price it’s pretty good. It’s not perfect, the mic quality is a bit shaky and I had to lower the “recording point” on my mic to have it pick up my voice when I’m not screaming into the mic. But what do you expect for a mic that costs a third of the real Bose brand wire? Regardless of its flaws, worth it.

I'm rough on my headphones, which makes me wonder why I use Bose headphones as my daily wearers . . . anyway . . .It's very rare that I go more than 12 months without completely destroying the cord. Either the wires begin to short, or I get it caught on something so hard it literally yanks the jack apart from the rest of the cord. Which is what happened, forcing me to buy this replacement cord.I love that the cord is slightly thicker than most headphone cables I've used, and the durability is helpful. I also ordered a blue cable, which allows me to see it easier when I'm carrying multiple types of cables. The jacks fit exactly the way they're supposed to, and I've been able to use this cord with Android and Apple products (the volume rocker forces the volume to go all the way up or all the way down on my MacBook, but pressing the volume a second time stops the rise in volume). The microphone doesn't seem to be noise cancelling, because my wife says she can hear EVERYTHING when I'm talking to her in the car. I also have to turn the mic input on my MacBook down a bit when using the headphones for Zoom meetings so I don't blast everyone else out. So this cord may not be good for use in a loud environment, or where sudden loud noise are common.Other than that, I never have problems with the cord getting tangled, and it's help up really well in the year-plus that I've had it. I mean, it's taken quite a bit of abuse from me. I've ordered another one, just to have as a spare for the day when I finally get it to give up on me. At this price, you can't go wrong with something that will last you for a very long time.

Bought this item mainly for travelling and using in-flight entertainment, and now tested in all travel classes. It works as expected.

Bought this because the Bose store was out of stock. I'd say it's a brilliant choice if you want people on calls with you to say you sound like you're in outer space, or (more politely) to ask if you can speak up.In fairness, it does work passably if I hold the mic about an inch from my mouth, but a) that gets old, fast and b) it seems ridiculous for a gadget that costs nearly twice as much as competing models widely available elsewhere on Amazon.Sure, could be a quality control issue—but 11% of reviewers have given this 1- or 2-star ratings, so that's some pretty poor quality control for a very simple device.

The cable worked perfectly to replace an original cable on my Bose OE2 headphones.
