The media could not be loaded.  I am 73 years old and I was having trouble with my left knee. I had stepped in a hold and sprained it and it hurt to bend. I own and operate a gun shop full time and have to put the guns out and take them in each day. I purchased this device from Amazon and when I 1st stepped on it I thought I had made a big mistake. I stood by my dresser holding on to it and put my foot on one and just rolled it back and forth until I saw how it works and then put both feet on one. It spent about 15 minutes just rolling one step forward and back on one hover shoe. I then got on both still holding on and spent another 10 minutes just roiling back and forth while holding on. Then I made the big step of standing alone and was surprised that it was easy to stand and move my feet back and forth. I finally went short distances and it began easy. All I had to do to go forward was move my hand forward or backward in front of me to like an helicopter joy stick to go forward or backward and it quickly became fun. I now use it in my work traveling in the store setting up the guns and getting things ready to open or close. It saves my feet alone with protecting my knees and has been wonderful. You do have to be careful on raised thresholds or any objects that are raised. I can go out in the parking lot on rough pavement if I am careful. Indoors I can even roll around with a bowl of cereal while I eat it or even read while I am on the shoes. I don't even have to think about the movement anymore it just comes natural to me now. You just want to go across the room, turn, turnaround, backup, it just does it for you. I can even pick things up by squatting down on it. Getting on and off is little tricky and earlier if you are touching something but not difficult and I will pass that soon. I have been too busy using them to practice that. I have even wore them while helping a customer but not normally. Don't be afraid of them respect them and enjoy them. I love them and most of all have never fell on them. I feel natural on them. Get them and you will love them. They can really go fast, stop quickly and make sharp turns. I will stop for now and hope you enjoy them as much as I do daily!!

We like these a lot and they are really fun but you need to watch out for little fingers near the sides of the wheels. The sides of these wheels should be covered or the metal edges should be rounded so that you don’t get cut. So don’t put you hands down near the wheels as they spin........She went to turn them off and the metal edge cut my daughters finger. I think they should’ve changed the location for the on and off switch to be on the top and not on the side hidden from view.Besides that they are really fun to ride around on......Just be careful! It takes a little getting a stable balance at first but you’ll soon enough get it.

It is a great idea - you just step on the individual pads (with wheels underneath) and off you go. However, we couldn't consistently get it to balance flat for us to step on it and sometimes one pad or the other would just roll off by itself during the mounting process. It was harder than we had expected, but we are on the clumsy side so maybe it is user dependent. Ultimately, we returned it because of our inconsistent success with it.

The metal on the wheels caught my daughter’s finger and ripped her nail off. Lots of doctor visits and pain for her. It was fun for her riding around the house until this happened. The wheels are a serious safety concern being that sharp. Then the beeping of the “shoes” was annoying as well if they couldn’t balance right.

My daughter used to tell me that she was going to create Hovershoes when she grew up. She imagined how easy they would make life. Imagine her surprise when she received a pair of these as a gift. She was so excited! She takes them everywhere and loves them. People stop and ask about them all of the time. They are great and the company is super to work with. They truly care about the customer experience!

My son adores these! I thought nothing could beat the hover board for him but these have. He truly enjoys them and uses them all the time.

One of the hover shoes would not self balance therefore would not work as it was intended to. Never got to try them, just sent them back after getting the same advice from customer service three times. I'm sticking with hoverboards until the glitches are worked out.
