Great landline phone option. Easy to expand to as many handsets as needed.
High quality product. Sound quality is excellent. Speaker phone is easy to use and sound is excellent here too. Volume adjustment is effective when you need to pump up the volume. Easy, large keypad and buttons are clearly labeled. What I like best is the ability to block annoying spammers, scammers and political robo calls. Very easy process for flagging these and they are prevented from calling you back unless they use another number. The remote handsets use standard batteries. One of my problems with an earlier set is that I could not find replacement batteries. These are very simple to replace and I haven't had to replace them with over a year in daily use. You can add as many remotes as you want. Another feature I like is that the remote units do not require plugging into a phone jack. They get their signals via airwaves. Yes, the pedestal for the remotes needs a plug, but that is strictly for recharging the batteries. Remotes are a bit complicated to use ALL of the features so you may have to pull out the manual to figure out how to do more unusual things. But the simpler, more common functions are extremely easy to use.

Good looking phone that seems to work well
I am very happy with this phone. As others have said, the set up is not intuitive. Most settings require the user to push the menu button followed by a three digit number. But, the manual is pretty clear and once you understand the procedure, it's pretty simple to follow. I doubt that it is much different than other phones. Keep the manual in easy reach. I was somewhat disappointed with the color. I had expected a more rose hue. I would classify it as more silver than rose, but it's pretty nonetheless. The greatest difficulty that I had was getting the answering machine to work. The unit kept saying I had to use my provider's voicemail, which I did not want to do. Eventually, I learned from my provider that I needed to stop their voicemail service for which the default is "on" and then I was able to get the voicemail on the machine to work. The voicemail is simple to use. The handsets set up without any problems. I would buy this phone again.

Like the phone overall.
The menu system and manual are pretty clear on set up. I purchased this more as a backup phone and for when I'm traveling to call the house. Reason for one less star are the following reasons. Seventeen min max message storage? Seriously when memory is essentially free these days for gigabytes of memory. To me that is ridiculous. I also don't see why Panasonic would use Two small AAA batteries in the base unit? Not like you carry it around, and the low power batteries typical of AAA nickel metal suck. Why not Size 4 AA? There would be no point in the "energy saver mode", ideally in emergency power outage young kids and or seniors may not remember the phone book stored in the base unit in the absurd Eco mode. I installed Two black eneloop batteries to maximize the tiny backup system. Still horrid compared to 4 AAs. I would actually prefer a non charging system on the base unit. Something like Four AA energizer lithiums would be outstanding on back up, and not need maintenance for years. Haven't used the Mobile units. They are charging. Even though I charged the batteries that came with the portable handsets with a very good Panasonic charger and were showing full. Installed in handset and said needs 7 hours. My thoughts are the phone charge systems are subpar. At least Panasonic used a common size battery, I give them credit for that and not some PITA proprietary system that is hard to replace or find. I think many of us pre cell phone days people have experience with that situation. One other thing I would like to have adjust is the LCD display for sleep time settings. Like all the smart phones we use can be adjusted for brightness and how many min on before dimming. I only listed the bad for most part because the good is too long to write about. I would buy this system again and would rate 4.5 if half stars were available. Hey Panasonic since you bought out Sanyo eneloop batteries include those with your products instead of the cheap chi com brands.

Has worked well
Can easily read the number of the caller and hear the caller name announced, though that is sometimes an interesting pronunciation. It was wonderful during the last week with the final push for Medicare open enrollment and the dozens of calls a day. It saved us from checking the callers and allowed us to connect with those we wanted. All three of our phones are now connected to each other with the same format and operation. The color looks good, as does the. phone. The family noticed the old phones had been replaced as soon as they walked in. The features are easy to locate on the face of the main phone. We are so glad we finally found something that was just right for us.

Pro - large display for elderly on the base2 cordless is goodPrompt deliveryBatteries for one cordless phoneCon - takes rechargeable batteries ( I can’t justify buying a charger for recharging for only 3 batteriesSecond cordless did not come with batteriesTalk time for cordless is less than a total of 3 hours, otherwise the phone clarity is good. This is a good vendor and product is good. Please give batteries for both cordless phones. I recommend this product and this vendor.

Best of both worlds
I bought these phones a whlie ago. I still like a land line. I have the option of a cordless phone. I like it announces the caller. I like when we lose power I can make a call. Easy set up. Good battery life!
