Electronic Workbench Novice - You Tube helped me
I watched You Tube videos on starting a hobby electronic work bench. A variable power supply was one of the suggested items to have for a electronics work bench. And without question it would beat stringing together a bunch of batteries. After unboxing my power supply and it was very well packaged..... I connected a Fluke 87V MM to it and powered it up for approximately a two hour duration. The power supply generated very little heat, the voltage was stable, but the fine tuning could be a little better... it either needs to be a little less or more sensitive....depending on your point of view. The picture shows the voltage at 3.20 volts....I had problems getting mine to do the same it would be either 3.19 or 3.21.....but finely 3.20 and it didn't drift once set. The supply was stable at 71F but I'm not sure what it would be like at other temps. Bottom line...I think my decision was correct.....but I might of been a better idea for me to buy a kit and try and make one........but I wanted one that worked..:-)..Good Luck

works fine
I've tested voltage/current supply with digital voltmeter, built-in meters show correct values.Short-circuit protection works somewhat strange - it drops voltage and limits current, but it's ok for my purposes.Product does not include test leads, need to order from other vendor.
