The best 17 Inch Rolling Backpack I could find for my 4th grader!
Great niche rolling backpack for the price! These types of rolling backpacks are either too small at 16 inches or too big and heavy at 18 to 20 inches for my 4th grader. This one is the only one I could find at 17 inches which fits her perfectly. Bonus is that it is very lightweight relative to the 18 inches and up rolly bags. The handle is long and sturdy and the wheels look nice and roll quiet and smooth. This is unexpected and great for this price point. These also come in lots of colors and patterns to choose from which as every parent knows is great because today's preteen kids are super picky and particular when it comes to colors and patterns. My only gripes are the cheap and loose stitching around the zipper and handles. The shoulder straps are also super cheap and thinly padded. Also there are not many internal external pockets. There is only one big main section, big enough for books , a 20 to 30 ounce water bottle and a lunch kit. There is an outer smaller front pocket big enough for a small iPad, snacks or pencil pouch . The side mesh pockets are too frail and shallow to carry water bottles above 16.9 ounces so don't expect to ever use them. There is no laptop/Chromebook internal pocket which is something alot of kids have to carry these days. Luckily my 4th grader is allowed to keep a Chromebook at school and have one at home so we didn't need the laptop pocket but if we did I would've returned this bag. Over all for the price I expect my daughter to have this for about a year or less before it falls apart or she grows out of it and into a 18 inch rolly bag.

I have not worn it like a backpack because I have no desire to break ...
Bought this bag to carry about 25+lbs of college supplies. I use public transportation and walk up a large hill to get to school, lots of steps, escalators, curbs and extremely uneven sidewalks. The hand and wheels have held up well so far despite some very rough handling. I have not worn it like a backpack because I have no desire to break my back, so I couldn't say if it's comfortable or not.The interior is very roomy. It currently holds 4 notebooks, a pack of paper, a textbook, two hardcover books, an iPad and an agenda in the main pocket. The smaller pocket can easily fit a small notebook or agenda as well. The mesh cup holders work well for my water bottle and coffee thermos, and the overall blue colour and dog design is cute. Zippers seem like they will hold up at least a year or two. The material is thin but seems waterproof, and I haven't noticed any loose stitches. The only downside for some - the handle is very short. I am 5' and can pull it without any issues, but I'm not sure how well this would work for someone taller.

Stron Wheels
My 5th grader pulls this bag over the stairs in his school EVERY DAY going up and down to his classroom! What a sturdy bag! The bottom part is made of hard-plastic and it really protects the bag and the wheels are like we have barely used the bag! Highly recommended!

Made it through fifth grade
I waited a whole school year to make this review… the bookbag made it through in one piece… which is incredible… my 11 year old makes his rolling bookbags do kick flips and burnouts and throws it against walls drags it sideways… all kinds of crazy stuff… the reinforced bottom part really helped. But it is also big enough to carry a few big text books, a lunch box and a laptop and other stuff too. AND it stands up on its own, some other brands fall over if it’s not propped up.

Cute bag but not holding up
My daughter needed a rolling backpack because our school is hybrid and they carry so much to school that her regular backpack was too heavy. She really liked this one but it's just not holding up. She does carry over 40 lb worth of books to school each day, so it is carrying a heavy load then probably would be in most normal school times. However I am concerned that it will not last through the school year. The space is good, it is definitely large enough. But rolling is wearing on the bottom of the backpack as illustrated in the photo. The design is super cute, it definitely is big enough for a first grader, but the durability of rolling over 40 lb worth of school supplies is lacking.

Great, functional, comfortable backpack!
This is the first review I have ever done on Amazon as I was so compelled to write a review on this backpack. I spent hours reviewing backpacks on wheels and models I came across, whether inexpensive or expensive had mixed reviews on some level. So, I went with the less expensive, and could not be more pleased with this backpack. It traveled with me through Europe for 10 days on planes, trains, buses, etc. It was wheeled on cobblestones and concrete many times, and it was stuffed. I returned with it without a single, damaged stitch; wheels and handle both working just fine. At this stage, I would definitely recommend this backpack.A few months back I bought a wheeled duffel bag (completely different brand and style) and after one flight as a simple domestic, carry on, the material ripped. The material on this back pack is sturdy and not flimsy.
