Great upgrade
I purchased these to upgrade stock tuners on my Ibanez AEG 20II acoustic guitar. They dropped right in with no need to fill and drill new holes , they are very stable on the tuning, they have great weight to them and make string changes a breeze. Will be buying another set for my second acoustic soon

Great functions but...
Great tuners but the mounting hardware was missing from my purchase. I'm trying to get musiclily to send me the replacement hardware.

sturdy and great fit
Installed these on a Les Paul fit was perfect and held great with #8 strings. So far tuning is rock solid.

Great locking tuners
Only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because a couple of the mounting screws broke while installing. Better screws and this would be a 5 star rating. For the price it's totally worth buying and upgrading screw at a local hardware store

I'm very happy with these.
I had an $80 set of tuning keys on order via Guitar Center after a year of waiting I cancelled my order. A week later these were on my axe and I couldn't be happier. Saved me $50 too.

I've installed on 3 guitars and very satisfied
I've installed these on an electric PRS style clone guitar, an electric resonator guitar, and an electric 12 string. Very easy to install and the fit was perfect for all of them, as well as the function of the lock. I have much more expensive Ratio locking tuners on another guitar, and if they weren't already on there, I'd have no complaints about using these instead. The Ratio tuners are a better product, but the cost is more than half of the cost of the three guitars I mentioned. For the cost, these would be a no-brainer to install on most guitars without locking tuners just for the sake of ease and speed of string changes. As for things to watch out for, once a string has been locked in and tuned, it develops a strong kink. If the string needs to be removed and them put back in, that kink will be a weak point. This can be avoided by giving the string a little more slack when first installing if the need to remove and replace the same string is expected (like changing a pickup). Also, for the lightest of strings .008-.012 giving an extra wrap around the tuning peg before feeding through the lock may help if slipping is an issue. I've learned that I don't need to overly tighten the locking mechanism. Basically, just enough pressure to clamp the string without weakening it from being pinched too hard.

Great locking tuner alternative
These locking tuners were very easy to drop in and install - no modification necessary to my PRS SE Custom 24-08. They're solid, feel smooth when tuning, and have held tune from the beginning without a problem. A great lower cost alternative to the overly expensive name-brand varieties!

Good quality
I own a Schecter Demon 6 and I love it to bits. I've been wanting to do some small upgrades to make the guitar better in any way I can. So this was the starting point. The locking tuners fit perfectly (arguably better than the original ones) and they're also quick and easy to install. All you need is a small screwdriver, a spanner, roughly 10-15 minutes of free time, and a new set of strings to test them out on.I've never done a full string change this quick. Already I've noticed that the tuning is more stable because the strings don't stretch as much.If this is the size/shape you're looking for, these will be worth the price. Also, there's a bonus brand-labelled pick, and it's actually pretty good.

Do Not Buy - Trash
The guy at my local guitar store warned me not to install these. I gave this product 3 months of my patience. I'm writing this negative review not to torch the seller.. only the product. Absolute pure garbage. I've been watching my guitar go out of tune 5 seconds after tuning for the past 90 days. I've officially lost my patience. Don't even bother trying to justify buying these because they look cool, or you want to experience new guitar tech. You'll end up being me, here on Amazon. Stick with your current, or get a newer set of the standard pegs. You're welcome!

cut two of my strings from winding going around post
the tuning machines cut the low E string and the G string from winding around the post. I suspect there are sharp spots on the sides of the hole where the string goes through. The 10mm nuts are between 10mm and 11mm. Definitely not 10mm
