This is such a perfect toy. Soft, not crazy noisy to scare the baby and small enough for my Grandson to hold in his hand by 3 months. Not to grip tightly but to atleast hold for a few seconds

Actually purchased this for my dog when we rescued her as a puppy and had to buy another because she is almost 3 yrs old and still plays with it. She destroys her toys, yet this has help up !

This rattle is my 7 1/2 month old son's favorite toy. He will choose this over any of his other toys, even ones with lights and sound. The rattle is brightly colored (and as red, white, and black are the colors that babies react to most, that is a plus). He loves the little rings around it as well. I love this toy due to the fact that at 7 1/2 months he is not aware that he can hurt himself when he is flinging his arms around. This rattle is soft and does not hurt him if he hits himself with it while he is playing like some of his plastic ones do. I would definitely recommend this to any parent. We originally bought this because he is fascinated by the Cat in the Hat on TV. Even if your child is not a fan of the show, he will be a fan of this toy. It is worth the price for sure.

Present for a newborn, parents just loved it!! I wanted her to have a party favor, even though she was only a month old!! Well worth the price, the picture doesn't do it justice!!

I received this product in a timely manner and brand new. My son loved it, its not easy to find cat in the hat toys for little ones which is his favorite!

I love that it is soft and washable. Someone complained the wiskers a choking hazard but I disagree. The wiskers are thick and well attached and I have no fear of them coming off. I purposefully pulled on the wiskers to make sure they were well attached and did not budge with moderate tug to my satisfaction. Baby can bite and drool all they want on this nice textured item.

This item is well made and adorable. Both of my Grandsons loved this brightly colored rattle. As soon as they were old enough to manage holding it it brought allot of smiles.

My daughter is four months old and absolutely loves this toy! The red is great because of the contrast babies love it!
