Fun book, probably best for ages 7-10
My kids are big fans of these joke books. My daughter (in third grade) loves to read them, and thinks they're hilarious. My son (in kindergarten) can read pretty well, but finds the jokes a little difficult to understand. A lot of the jokes are puns that go over his head, but he does find them very funny once we explain them. For adults, the jokes get old pretty quickly, as they're aimed at younger kids. One fun idea is for the kids to read the joke, and the adult try to guess the punchline. I'm able to guess the answer about 50% of the time. The kids get a kick out of that, and it makes it more entertaining for me. We have given this book as a birthday party gift, usually along with another one or two fun books. It's been well received.

Birthday present
Purchased as a birthday present and he seemed to love it. Now I have to hear corny jokes all the time, but as long as he laughs it was well worth it.

As expective
A paperback book that's inexpensive and kids like it. Don't have to worry if it gets destroyed when they are done cracking simple jokes for young children.

Super cute
My daughter loves these books! She needed a little help putting jokes together(she said she wasn’t good at jokes) so we got her a few books. This one’s probably her favorite. Not to mention it’s got her reading and she absolutely hates reading!! Mom win!

Highly recommend all of Rob's joke books!
I highly, highly recommend Rob's joke books! Not only are the jokes perfectly suited for children (my granddaughter is 7 years old), but it is one book that she picks up and reads all the time. It is difficult to get her to read outside of her homework, but reading these jokes and their answers is so much fun she doesn't realize she is learning to read in the meantime!

Thank you Mr Elliott!
Whenever my 10 year old said "Hey mom, I've got a joke for you" I seriously contemplated hiding. It was agony to listen because they were never funny, or she'd get the punch line mixed up with another joke and it would make no sense at all. I went in search of a miracle, and found it through Rob Elliott's book. Now I genuinely laugh when she tells a joke, and knock-knocks make sense. :)

Jokes for kids
Bought several of these from the same author for my 2 boys 10 and 5 years old, whom read maybe better than I do sometimes and love LOVE jokes, knock knock jokes, riddles, and rhymes and yes some are even cute but I can't help but to feel I spent way too much money on these. The jokes are repeated some 10 times over and over in some cases and maybe thrice in 2 pages and that is were my frustration comes from.I purchased the first editions then in hopes for more content bought the extra eds and the frustration led me to buy the one with all of them and the problem only got worse.I do however appreciate the authors efforts for compiling all these jokes, and rhymes together but unfortunately the repetition of the same jokes over and over took the 5 star merit away. So for a couple good jokes 2 stars is too much.Sorry for being too blunt but I really thought these would be jokes my witty, sometimes loud obnoxious, spirited and super curious boys would enjoy. Now I'm wishing I could return them but if I do I'll break their hearts even when they sigh a lot asking me why are so many jokes repeated here.Note to the author:Please stop copying and pasting content when you've ran out of imagination. I'm sure the Internet is full of innocent jokes to be had and explored, innocent enough for kids whom have taken YOUR BOOKS to show and tell to show them off as their favorite books in the world.A little more effort shows appreciation for the people engaging, buying, reading your books and ultimately sharing with loved ones the few good jokes.I say this with the outmost love, admiration and respect.Come on Rob! Show my boys better! I'm sure not many people will tell you their toddler at 4 years old calls YOU his favorite jokes book writer in the world. ( he couldn't say author, and he just turned 5 and reads like a spelling bee champion!)
