Great design and it drops right into the center console perfectly. You just use 4 self tapping screws to secure it. It does reduce the size of the console considerably. Keep that in mind. Once installed you will be able to secure items that need to be secured while you are away from your truck. The RAM has no locking glove box so this safe comes in very handy and its awesome how its concealed. It won't attract attention. But remember you should always keep your vehicle clear of any "bait". Keep things out of view to lower your chances of being a victim of a smash and grab. There is no way a criminal will be able to get into this thing in time. Tough as nails, no way to break the lock in a limited amount of time. Well worth the money!!!! I got mine with the 4 combo. I believe they have other options but this one works fine. However if you need to access quick that may not happen with the 4 combo.

If you need a good in vehicle safe this is the way to go. If you are Military, Police, Fire, EMS, call the manufacture and order direct. Bobby is great! This safe is solid, fits many things not just a gun, so if you are not a gun owner this is still for you. Places like court where cell phones are not allowed are locations where smash and grabs occur, Lock’er Down! if you are a business owner / manager and make deposits Lock’er Down! do not lose what you forget to lock. If you forget to lock your vehicle you will be sure to lock this bad boy because it is habitual to lock due to the spring action door. When I installed mine with the 4 tiny screws I thought I can rip it out if I open it, so I opened it up and tryed to rip it out with leverage on the frame, the whole truck rocked. Get one! Be safe!

Very sturdy, well made and secure. This literally took five minutes to install. It matches the space in your console perfectly and the door is spring loaded to open. Placed in 2017 ram 2500 limited. The silver colored divider behind door hinge does not come with unit it was added on by myself.

Had to have a safe place for valuables in my truck. Searched for my vehicle and found this very easy to install, easy to use and secure console truck safe. Just pick a 4 number combo add your screws that are included and you are ready to go.

Overall the safe is very strong. Made of solid steel I'm sure will last forever. I only wish the anchor screws were a little bigger but even with the present screws I believe it would take some tools and effort to open the safe.

I really Like the product, But it was the wrong box for the application. I was disappointed, Because I ordered it specifically, chose the year and model. It could be a little more secure also. I ended up using it elsewhere. Please make sure your box fits the year and make of the vehicle, it's advertised to fit. Thanks and I will look into purchasing more in the future.

Beautiful product, much nicer than i had anticipated. Arrived much earlier than stated. Installed in under a min. i will be using in all my trucks going forwardA few things i would change. with the lock was fluch fit so i could put a rubber over the safe so its more hidden,I wish the box was completely encapsulated so that when i sell the truck i could still use it for other purposes.needs additional options for a more secure install if wanted.

Phenomenal concept, high quality, and perfect fit for my 2011 Ram 1500. Dropped it right in, used my power screw driver to put in 4 screws and it was done in minutes. It even leaves a little extra space between the safe and compartment lid on the truck to set small things like papers, smartphone, etc. This extra space is great to keep spare/unnecessary papers to disguise the existence of the safe; would be better if the combo was set in and didn't stick up for complete concealment.
