At an annual event for a group of 24 people, mostly teens, we wanted to get away from the usual pizza and hot dogs were the food of choice. So, we had a large crock pot of hot dogs and used this for the hot sides/topping (Chili, sauteed onions & sauerkraut). It not only worked out perfectly but we had an adult leader there who ordered the one with larger containers later that day for another organization that he works with! (One for adults and the organization will use for things like Football viewings where they have spreads with nachos, wings, baked potato bar, etc.) My husband thought of getting this because his sister uses one like this for hot Thanksgiving side dishes on her counter to save room on the table for platters and salad.As for clean-up, we bought crockpot liners that made it very easy. At home, we use a larger crockpot (single) and I'm used to washing the heavy crock, but these smaller & lighter ones were better. I'm guessing it would clean well without the liners but I can't say for sure. It didn't over-heat or burn, but we didn't cook food, we warmed it.I'd suggest heating the elements one time before using for food. We didn't and there was a "heat" smell when I first turned it on. I had enough time to let it cool, start again and there was no smell the second time it was on.Oh, and we chose this in part because of the lid holders - that was a must-have for us. I can't think of any negatives so we're pleased that we had this for the event and can use it in the future.

We had a birthday party with a pasta bar. This little trio was perfect for keeping the sauces warm.

They are small but for a taco station with three kinds of meat this was so useful. Mine didn't come damaged so I didn't have anything to worry about.

Good size for parties, keeps food warm, heats fast. Lid holder is convenient so they are not laying all over the table. Follow instructions to clean and fill with water prior to use to burn off plastic smell. Downside is the front face can get hot to touch so keep clear of touching or other items that could melt if in contact.

I do alot of small catering that is 50 ppl or less. This is great for me to control sauce temperatures better.

I have a metal container unit I used for several years. The Teflon coating has started pealing and looks unappealing and is hard to clean. Going with the ceramic containers makes it easier to clean. You just have to be careful not to break the bowls. Worked great for Christmas morning doing a small brunch buffet for family. Used it for New Years again setting up a hot sub buffet.

I already had the two crock option and love it but wanted the three crock option because I wanted to be able to use this for family dinners. So far this has been fantastic! I have several family members that have different dietary restrictions ; now I can offer them customized options without too much leftovers and too many pots pans
