I had ordered the set of knives in Dec 2019, and I have been using these two (chef knife and utility knife) nearly every day.The blades had remained as sharp as the day I bought them, and even though i used them everyday for all sorts of cooking prep, the colour had not faded at all. I used these knives to cut through meat, tough root vegetables, no problems at all.The knives had a good grip, which makes it easier to handle and cut vegetables. The sheaths provided made it easy to store in the drawer.I'm really pleased with them and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a set of good knives, value for money.

I know nothing about knives, except I like mine to easily chop an onion and a tomato.This was an emergency purchase, my housemate had taken his really expensive knives with him and the really budget Wilko ones didn't cut a tomato.So I bought these.They have plastic covers for the blades, you don't need a knife block cluttering up your worktop. They're a distinctive colour and it doesn't wash off, which is quite nice. They are easy to clean which is great and they don't take much effort to use, but are sharp enough for what I need them for. I would 100% buy again

I cook on a daily basis, and needed replacement knives. After reading the reviews, these ones came up trumps!The knives are very very sharp! Although there is no block with them, they do have a heavy duty plastic like cover for each knife to protect them from getting ruined in the drawer.I haven’t put them in the dishwasher. I ALWAYS hand wash & dry my cooking knives.

We had to replace most of our knives after our daughter "sharpened" them with this "fantastic electric sharpener" that she'd bought online. Completely ruined our knives and made our expensive scissors useless! I like the set although I really wanted to find a stiletto type paring and coring knife. Some of these included are a bit wider than usual. I also had to sharpen and hone some of the blades that weren't as sharp from new as I expected. I do like the sheaths that are included. After reading other reviews on these knives, we have avoided placing them in the dishwasher, as we don't want to risk "Rust-spots". They seem very good value for the price but are very light and the plastic feel of the handles is a bit disappointing.

These knives are great! I've been using really poor knives for a while now, so maybe I'm easily impressed, but these knives work as described. Made chopping up potatoes, carrots, celery, onions etc. easy. I really like the colour (I was afraid they would look dull in reality but the blades have a nice shine to them). Only issue, and its more of a heads up really, is that you MUST wipe the blades dry and not leave to air dry otherwise you get very obvious water marks, that look like oil marks on these knives.

You might be sceptical given the price of this knives. Well, don't be! These are excellent knives given their price range. First, they cut incredibly well even without sharpening and the blue colour looks really good on them. The only thing I would point out is that sometimes water stains appear, which you can easily remove with a dry cloth. Other than that, if you are not a professional chef then these knives are an excellent addition to your kitchen.

I already had had a good chefs knife and wanted to try a santoku and have a couple of spares.I have discovered that the Santoku is really good as a medium/hard cheese knife. I like my cheese and so it's good to have a knife that works well with cheese. For soft cheese you're still going to need a proper one with holes in the blade but it's good for everything else.Downsides are that the blades blunt very quickly. I have only used the Santoku to cut cheese but it's already needing sharpened. The second downside is that I always wash and dry my knifes immediately after use using the soft side of a washing pad with a light touch but most of the colour is off the blade making it look a bit cheap now.If I had the choice of going back I probably wouldn't have bought these but at least I know that I can get myself a good Santoku and will use it.

Delivery in time, I am a kitchen assistant and I have been using them every day for about a month now, they are great and stay sharp for a while after the first time you sharpen them. They are very pretty and very easy to handle safely with the little blade covers. They don't come with a bag or a holder of any kind though so I'd advise getting one or the other if you want to give them the same use.
