LOCK FROZEN CLOSED
I am very frustrated - the lock won't open with the proper combo. This is the second one purchased, and time this has happened. I will not repurchase this lock.

Poor quality control, rude customer service
The lock appears to work fine. But it came packaged with a cheap and very obviously torn rubber restraining strap to keep the heavy lock in its holster. Kryptonite customer service was the rudest I can remember dealing with--an abrupt instruction to go to the website, while disclaiming responsibility. Hard to have a lot of confidence in the lock.

Lock jammed stranded for hours
After only owning for 6 months, the lock jammed and wouldn’t open with the correct combination. I was stranded for hours until I could find a locksmith open on weekends to saw it off, at a cost of $200. We own another one and won’t use it moving forward — too risky to bike somewhere, lock it up, and then have the lock jam up!

Was good until cut and bike stolen
I liked how it fit on bike. The original Kryptonite U lock more secure. This one was easily cut and bike stolen.
