Normally I don't buy tuna in olive oil because I find the olive oil to be too heavy for it and it detracts from the flavor of the tuna completely. But this was such a great deal and it was from a company with a good reputation, so I tried it. I was pleasantly surprised. The tuna was obviously wild caught because it didn't have that bleached white look that no tuna has ever had in this world naturally, came in a good chunk, removed from the can easily with limited waste if any, and was overall good enough that I could have eaten it straight from the can without draining the olive oil if I wanted to. Very good quality for the price point.

Good quality. Have not had any bad cans. I took a star for consistency. In spite of being in oil, somehow some of the tuna is reaallly dry. I’d give 4.5 stars for the rest of the tuna being good. The cans all arrived undamaged and well packaged unlike the other most popular brand that always arrived with damage and wasn’t too tasty anyway. I use this for food on the go and eat it straight from the can at least 5 days a week. If you need albacore tuna in olive oil, you can’t go wrong with this.

Although not imported from " the old country" This is delicious. The olive oil really makes all the difference. I'll never buy water packed tuna again.

Good tasting little tin of tuna; does not smell fishy and goes great for a quick lunch on crackers.
