The rod is stronger and heavier than I had expected.It comes with 3 brackets. We didn't need the middle bracket because we had a smaller window but it does come with 3. It also comes with the hanging hardware. The end pieces add a nice expensive look to the curtain rod. I think it looks very nice and cheaper than most expensive rods that look to be the same quality. I hung 4 panels - 2 were the thicker blackout curtains so it handles quite a bit of weight without bending. I actually couldn't wait to review this curtain rod. First of all, I wanted antique white and that's exactly what it is. Secondly, it was really easy to hang, with the screws placed far enough apart. You can also move the bracket farther away from the wall while you're screwing it in,so there's room for your hands and the screwdriver or screw gun. Lastly, it is a very sturdy rod. If you're hanging sheers or light curtains, you don't need the middle bracket. I have my rod stretched out to about 78 inches, over my sliding glass door, and I hung sheer curtains with metal loops, and it is not bowing in the middle AT ALL. (I bought the curtains of Amazon, too, of course.) I like not having the middle bracket because now I can open my curtains all the way if I want to and don't have them stopped in the middle. Another good thing is that these come with the three brackets in case you need them. Did I mention the GREAT PRICE? I have been looking for rods for a couple of months at Lowes, Walmart, Home Depot, JC Penney and Bed Bath & Beyond. It was almost impossible to find anything that was antique white. And the prices are outrageous - I kid you not, some of them were $60 or $70 - for ONE ROD - and it wasn't even what I wanted - it would have been a compromise. I should have just come to Amazon first. Lesson learned! I absolutely will buy curtain rods from this company again - and perhaps other things, too!

Great curtain rod. Sturdy and I love the cream finish. And price was perfect. Far cheaper then others that Ive purchased in the past for other rooms in my home.

The material feels like lightweight plastic which could be a possible godsend if you are drilling into drywall only, which I was. Easy to assemble, the rod comes in two pieces which can be expanded to your desired length, then you use the thumbscrews located on each bracket to secure the rod, thus preventing accidentally expansion. A feature I thought was awesome but not mentioned, there is a screw on each bracket you can loosen and give yourself an extra 2 inches of distance from the wall. This sort of adjustability is appreciated, especially customers wanting to use several curtains in layers.Overall, this is an economical choice for someone not wanting pure metal, it looks like the real thing without the weight, damage to your drywall, and price.

I absolutely love it!! I had been looking for rods that would not be to heavy since my curtains were going to be pretty heavy and these are just perfect. I love that it gives out living room and bedroom that Shabby chic look I am going for. The installation was easy with the exception of the anchors they sent which are so cheap we had to go buy good ones. Other than the screws/anchor problems, I am so happy I bough these.The actual rod is what looks to be PVC and the ends are wooden. the color is an off-white with a rust look to them. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone looking for a shabby chic/ antique look, I am sure you won't regret it.

These are good-looking curtain rods. The mounting brackets and screws are included. The end pieces are plastic, but they're dense, sturdy, and color-matched to the metal rod. It's really hard to tell they're plastic just by looking at them. The end pieces screw on, so once you have them tight, there's no way for them to accidentally fall off. I bought several for my house. They are individually packaged inside a factory retail box, and delivered inside a strong shipping box. All of mine arrived without defects, complete, and fully functional.

Complete piece of garb*ge... should be sold in a dollar store not on Amazon. Now that I look at the Ad again, I should have caught on to the fact , that there is only 1 picture and limited product info..indicating a poor quality product. See my pic, and the size comparison to a quarter.

We paid $10.99 when it was a deal. It looks great, was easy to install and serves its purpose. Unless spiderman visits and fondles your finials, no one will be able to tell that they are cheap plastic. The finials don't "feel" quality, but they look fine. The rod hooks tighten onto the rod to prevent the rod from inadvertently getting flipped out or sliding around should one have a flare for the dramatic when opening and closing their curtains or panels.All in all they serve the purpose and look like what I ordered.

Super cute rods for a country/coastal vibe. The middle bracket allows for heavier blackout curtains. Would buy again!

It’s cheap plastic but works for the guest room. I ordered 4 (two for my sons room and two for the guest room). I received 3 a few weeks ago but am still waiting for the 4th to be delivered?

To Alchim manufacturer , this curtain rod was a gift for our daughter who was moving in March of this year. She just opened the box and one of the finial ends is missing!!! Now what?

This looks great and does what I needed it to do. It's a little bit flimsy/flexible, but not to the point where it won't hold the curtains I have. Nice value.

Not much to say about it. It looks nice, it was easy to install and it holds the curtains up like it's supposed to. No complaints.
