Great item
I bought these to help with my dog's liver and kidney functions. He takes them quickly like a treat. I have also found that they have helped with his allergies, and he isn't licking his paws as much.

Hips happy and SHEDS LESS!
I got this for my rescue pups back legs/hips, his legs seem less stiff in the mornings and I think it’s working well. He’s only a year and a half old so we’re trying to keep his joint problems under control for as long as possible!PLUS his fur is SO soft and shiny, and he’s been shedding SO much LESS! I can’t even believe it! I keep him well groomed but every time we used to pet him or pull a little on his fur a bunch of pieces would still come out. It’s almost completely stopped now. Fur comes out (noticeably less) when I groom him but after that he doesn’t as shed much on his own! I just keep with with brushing a few times a week and I no longer have to sweep the floors all the time, it’s amazing! He also gets dry eye on occasion and that has since stopped being a problem.Love these things. If you need something stronger go for straight fish oil, if not then these are perfect. Easy to give and pretty cheap. Fish oil is so healthy for their coat, organs, eyes, joints, etc. My dog likes the taste of these too!

Benefits are there but your mileage may vary.
Our rescue fur baby had unknown history but we were blessed with a dog without too many challenges. Sure, he's not too crazy about small kids that pull on his tail or dogs bigger than him, he is passionate about his forever family home and deserves the best care we can provide him. This includes the best possible nutrition, exercise, grooming, health care and much love. Oh, did I leave out why we are adding this Omega-3 fish oil supplement?Well, many of you out there may feel that given the best possible dog food, why would you need to provide supplements? That would be true if dog food alone gave the same level of nutritional benefits that additional Omega-3 fish oil provides. We provided our dog with premium kibble from Stella & Chewys, add chopped broccoli and carrots and once a day some beef/chicken bone broth. Should be enough right? However we have always noticed that his fur/hair (Shih Tzu mostly have hair vs fur) was always coarse feeling, almost like we hair dryer damage our hair. We thought this was normal and for 6 months left it as is.After doing some research about Omega-3 fish oil benefits for dogs, we decided to give this a try. Fast forward about a month and we noticed a difference in his coat. The back area above his rear legs was also more coarse than the rest of his body but now even 3 weeks after grooming, his entire coat still feels silkier and much softer. We believe with no other changes to his diet, that this Omega-3 fish oil has made a difference. Now of course like anything else, your mileage may vary. Like people, everyone reacts differently to what we put into our bodies. How long it takes to see the benefits will also vary. The seller has been VERY good in following up to check how we are doing and responds to any reply or questions. Our dog is 20lbs and the recommended dose is between 1-2 per day. We started with 2 per day and may be able to drop down to 1 but we shall see.PROS: tangible results and seems to provide the benefits claimed regarding coat. We didn't have itchy skin problems, so can't comment on that benefits. Easy to give. Our dog won't take the chews as a treat, so we break it up and mix in with his breakfast. Cost is reasonable. No fish odor from chews or breath after eating.CONS: our dog won't take it directly. He is finicky with treats. Only likes meat jerky type.OVERALL: Benefits are there if you area patient and willing to stick to it. If the same benefits can be delivered in a meat jerky, we will be all over it!

#1 (Amazing Nutritionals Omega-3 Fish Oil Chewable Tablet) versus #2 (Grizzly Salmon Oil) in dog fish oil supplements
My dog is special. He has some medical issues resulting from the residual effects of a disease he had as a puppy. As a result of that, along with the side-effects from a medication he's prescribed, he gets a dull coat and dry skin. To remedy that, I turned to omega-3 supplements.I initially tried #1:Amazing Nutritionals Omega-3 Fish Oil Chew-able Tablet for Dogs, 120 tabsThese worked well. It was easy to regulate his dosage at meal time, he loved the taste, he digested them well, and he had marked improvement in his coat. It was shinier and he was less prone to shedding on a gradual timescale. As a plus to me, it was odorless, easy to handle, and easy to store - basically all the things that would sound obvious gives an advantage to a solid tablet over a liquid oil. Additionally, as cost will be mentioned later, $/dosage is pretty reasonable. He was on this, twice daily, for about a year. That is how much I loved this product. However, I was never "moved" to do a review. However, after some increased dosage of his prescription and some other factors, his skin started to get much drier. His coat went back to being dull, and he was shedding much more often. He would get hot spots and his skin would break out horribly. I decided the tablets were not enough. Then I moved on to #2:Grizzly Salmon Oil All-Natural Dog Food Supplement in Pump-Bottle Dispenser, 16 OuncesAny feelings I had about #1's effectiveness was blown out of the water within only about 3 days of using this product. I very quickly saw improvements in my dog's skin and coat (much more quickly than with the tablets). His shine returned, he's less prone to shedding, and his skin has been clearing up. I had to restrain myself from posting a rave so quickly about this product because I thought there'd be some backfire (and I rarely ever review products). But no - he consistently loves the taste, digests it well, and his skin/coat continue to improve. The cons of it are you would maybe expect: it smells, it's somewhat more difficult to dose, and the pump bottle is poorly designed in slight ways around the margins. Additionally, the price is pretty steep in comparison to the tablets in terms of $/dosage (about twice as much for me). These things, however, are not nearly enough for me to detract a single star away from this product. Its effectiveness is superior and my dog's skin/coat and just overall health is greatly improved.Final verdict:These are both quality omega-3 dog food supplements. If you're in need of the best-in-quality for your dog's health, Grizzly Salmon Oil is the way to go. If you're more budget and/or smell conscious, Amazing Nutritionals Omega-3 Tablets are your go-to. However, since I'm shopping more for quality here, my edge goes to Grizzly.Grizzly Salmon Oil: 5/5 starsAmazing Nutrtionals Omega-3 Tablets: 4/5 stars.Final thoughts:I will be trying Grizzly's pollock oil in the near future when my dog's skin/coat improve some more. It's supposed to be a more budget-conscious omega-3 supplement, yet does not necessarily boast all of the same health claims. I'll update later if I do.
