Does not fit lithium batteries
First Storacell device that has even slightly disappointed. Of many, used for... ever. I keep on buying them when other battery holders fail. Use them in all sorts of environments, regularly, and they are abused a lot. Great and worth it.But I can't use this unit. See, they designed it for the typical terrible alkaline 9v you see in grandma's smoke detector. The ones with rounded corners. But, lithium 9v batteries use even more of the available space, and have much smaller radius on the corners, are almost sharp. They simply do not fit. Can be forced about halfway in, then stop. And are hard to remove. But can in no way be placed all the way in.And, this makes them useless because I only need storage like this for batteries that go outside my house, into the cold and wet. Where I use pretty much exclusively lithiums because they last 10+ years in storage, and don't mind the cold so much. Oh, and weigh a lot less also.I hope they notice, and revise the unit sometime with less or no internal radius so it takes all 9v square battery types.

These are great!
This review is about the yellow 4x 9V Storacell clip (plastic properties may vary with different colorants). I'm using them with Varta #56722 and Tenergy Centura #10003 batteries, which fit nicely.Since the advent of low self discharge NiMH tech, I have been using a lot of LSD NiMH 9V batteries in high-end handheld meters (DVM, SPL, Z, datalogger) where the very real possibility of alkaline battery leakage continues to be a very expensive problem. It has always been a pain to deal with them because of the lack of a decent holder/box/clip. The Storacell solves nearly all of my concerns. The design is brilliant! With the batteries inserted contacts down, it is virtually impossible for them to short out on anything in a toolbox. I've futzed around with various contact protectors, notably the Keystone #96. None of them work well.I'm switching to Storacell for all my 9V battery storage, and I'm going to check out their CR123 storage devices.

Safety first with 9v batteries.
If you're prone to keeping batteries in your pants pocket, think again. Whatever other metal objects are in your pocket can short a battery out and burn you. This is most important with 9V batteries which have both positive and negative terminals on one end. A paper clip, a nail, a fingernail file. . .or worse....000 steel wool WILL get your attention if it crosses both polls of a 9v battery. These are great for keeping batteries separate and isolating terminals.

Great product made solid !!
We service machines that have in them a 9 volt battery that go dead every once in while. I was looking for battery HOLDER that I can put in my tool bag and keep them from JUST BEING LOOSE or in some small box that never stays closed. THIS WAS THE PERFECT THING. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere.PRO-TIP - I put the 9V batteries in the holder UPSIDE DOWN so the contacts don't make contact with anything else in the tool bag.Hope this helps!

Work Great!
I have a variety of these Storacell battery holders. They work great! Batteries fit in them snugly, and won't accidentally come out. But the batteries are easy to slide out when wanted. The terminals are protected, so you never need to worry about the terminals shorting out with other batteries or metallic items. And they make carrying batteries with you very convenient.

Best fit & function I've found in any holder for storing 9V batteries
I especially liked how easy it was to get them in and out of that holder. The battery + / - connectors are well-protected, butstill accessible though an opening at the bottom; so easy to check their voltage with a meter without removing the battery from the holder! I use these for my rechargeables. Robust construction, so these should last a lifetime!

Safely stores my batteries
I kerp all of my batteries in storacell holders. They keep them organized and I can easily segregate charged batteries from the ones thar need to be charged.I put charged batteries in the holders with the positive or terminal side down. If they need charging then I put them in with the positive or terminal side up.

I really like these battery holders
These are great organizers when you need to take up to 6 batteries with you. We all buy our batteries in bulk - 35 packs in my case. For travel I only need some replacements for clocks, flashlights and so on. These are great to keep them separated and so they aren't rolling around in the bottom of my briefcase.

Four Stars
Storacell are nice products but are overpriced for what they are.

Value for Money
Batteries don’t last very long but all together it was worth the money. Since you get 5 batteries, if you are using it for a smoke detector or in my case a paintball gun, it is exactly what you need. Does the job!

Fantastic
Bought a few of these to hold batteries so my drawers were organized and batteries were not everywhere. Worth the cost!
