I have an older smaller USB speaker that I like but is lacking in bass. This Tamproad looked like an upgrade so based on reviews I bought it for $35. The sound is clean, that is most important to me. There is bass, but not what you would expect from the looks of that center driver. Moderate bass adds richness to the sound, but don't expect any thumping. I ran a bass test on it and it really fell off below 100hz.One thing I found annoying straight off is the blue light ring around the bass cone. Hurting my eyes at night, the blue is too cold. Noticing there are four screws holding the front of the speaker on, I took the front face off and easily disconnected two white wires on the board= no more ring light and this will only help the battery last longer. (see image) Another thing is that the remote raises volume to 14 but no higher. However, the volume knob does go much higher than the remote, in fact this little box will get loud and stay clean sounding. Blutooth always connects with my iphone 8 but you have to get past the cringy status voices "blutooth connect-duh successfully". FM works for what that's worth. The battery charges quickly and lasts for at least 3 hours nonstop. I haven't tried a flashdrive or media card in it, I just want it for wireless connection. It does work brilliantly for that. Yes, a good sound upgrade over what I had.EDIT 2/23: so two years in this speaker has worked flawlessly, it connects via blutooth to my iPhone every time. Flashdrive works every time. I've put it to use as my traveling guitar amp-acoustic guitar with a Rushhead preamp using an 1/8" stereo cord to the aux speaker input. Nice clear sound with the limitation that it only gets loud enough, you won't rock the local open mic night with it. I've taken the time to review this twice because it is a reliable tool for my music needs. Top recommendation!

For those of you who are saying that the bass is not good enough, go buy a 300 dollar tailgating speaker. For for the price point of this thing, you really can’t beat it. It has high quality CONTROLLED bass. It’s great for watching movies and I’ve noticed that even at a quarter of the max volume, it still cranks out a bass level that is proportionate to the volume while maintaining a strong deep sound. Trust me, the bass is excellent. Keep in mind, the positioning of your speaker in the room will have an impact on quality of sound. Be smart about where you place it people. Basically, if you’ve been contemplating the decision, just buy it. You will not regret it because with quality sound comes a higher price and the price for this thing will only continue to increase because the demand for it will sky rocket when people notice how good it is. BUY IT WHILE IT IS CHEAP!

I recently purchased a Bluetooth speaker, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. This little device packs a big punch when it comes to sound quality and convenience. The media could not be loaded. For a small speaker, it deffinitally packs a punch. When my speaker arrived, I was thrown off by the size. For a little speaker, you deffinitally get what you pay for and more. Not only does it pack a punch with amazing sound, this speaker is so easy to use and so easy to take with you on the go. I deffinitally recommend this product. You will NOT be disappointed at all.

One of the biggest concerns is that you cannot turn to unit off with the remote.You have to get up and flip the switch on the side to the off position!I could not find a way to assign my own presets in the FM mode. It will let you do an "auto scan", but this will also find a lot of garbage channels which you cannot delete or remove.You can dial in a station by simply using the remote number pad, that is convenient.The remote is infrared, so it will not work when the speaker is out of side (behind cabinet door...)I expected a bit more bass, but I guess for the price it is ok!

The media could not be loaded. This product is completely falsely represented in the ad! It is pictured as being nearly as wide as the street dancer's lower leg, which it isn't! I have very small hands for an adult and only wear a size 6 & 1/2 ring yet my hands are bigger than the speaker! It also claims that it has really good sound and bass which it absolutely doesn't! The speaker isn't any louder than playing on my phone and doesn't have exceptional bass either! I bought this to play music at work in a very noise factory! When my husband turned on the kitchen sink it drowned out the music so clearly this speaker doesn't have the sound quality that is falsely claimed in the description! I would maybe suggest this for a small child to connect to their tablet for watching cartoons or something, but definitely not for a teen or adult looking for music sound quality!

Don’t understand why people complain about every little thing in the comments. If you want a compact speaker that has great sound quality then this is perfect. The speaker is VERY loud for its size, the treble is very clear, you can really hear every little detail in a song. Very quality bass, battery life is actually pretty long and the materials are very nice in my opinion and this is all for an affordable price. I’ve had no problems with it, as long as you don’t trash it around and actually take care of it then you not gonna have any problems

The pic gives you some context for it's size. It's not big and it's not heavy, which is great for its portability, yet it has decent STEREO sound. The 2 little speakers on the side give you STEREO sound while the 3rd speaker, a tiny woofer, provides a bit of bass. You're not going to get pumpin' beats out of this unit but it does have a balanced sound with a fair amount of volume, again nothing that will be enough for your jumpin' pool party but enough for some music in your backyard. The Bluetooth works great but the feature I use the most is the FM tuner. Once it auto scans the frequencies and locks them into memory it's easy to go through the programed stations or you can use the numbers on the remote to directly tune a station. The antenna is lackluster in my opinion, if you are going to have it in a stationary spot or 2 I would suggest a simple dipole antenna with an alligator clip to clip to the antenna on the unit. The 1 quirk is everytime you turn it on it defaults to BT instead of the last source used and at full volume. The only other thing I would change is the ability to turn of the blue light only to save power when on battery. Speaking of the battery I haven't specifically tested how long it plays at various volumes but I have forgotten to plug it in when I moved it and it lasted a couple hours (not timed) on mid volume.

Easy to set up and charges rather quickly. Good sound, quality and portablity. Great buy for the money

I was looking for something standalone with speakers to play my music. Well, this is it! The batteries have a long enough duration, and are rechargeable via USB (while still playing music). This device can accept music from several sources, microSD, USB, FM radio and bluetooth (ex. from a phone). It's very convenient.A thing I would like to have is the ability to switch off the boombox-equalizer hard-setting. Music does sound a little different, but the quality is still very good. It's true that the max volume level is a little low, perhaps a battery performance issue. It's good enough for people in the same room, but not further.

Sound quality is OK but no base at all , the size of it is way to small .
