Sensitive Skin Approved!
Once I turned 30, hormonal changes started happening and my skin started to break out. I am a person that did not struggle with acne at all growing up, so this was completely new to me. I have dry, sensitive skin. I also have eczema. I am a person that does not use scented products (lotions, creams, anything scented is a no for me). I bought this set to see if it would help after using Curology and it did not make a difference. And it did! I followed the instructions and after about a month, the hormonal acne I was experiencing on my chin, cheeks, and jaw, disappeared. The products were a bit drying, but I made sure to moisturize on top of the entire routine. Whenever applying your skincare, always use clean hands, let your products dry before moving on to the next step (use a fan to speed up the process), and avoid touching your face after to minimize bacteria. This product makes your skin more sensitive to sunlight, so always use SPF everyday.TLDR; I am extremely happy with the results of this product. If you are a sensitive skin girly, don't worry. This routine saved my skin!

Productos excelentes y nada agresivos.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Dermatological 3 Step Acne Treatment System.I’ve been using the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Acne Treatment System for a few weeks now, and while I appreciate some aspects of it, there are also a few things that left me a bit underwhelmed. Here’s a detailed breakdown of my experience:Pros:✔ Gentle on the Skin – One of the things I immediately noticed about this system was how gentle it was. I’ve tried other acne treatments in the past that left my skin feeling dry, tight, or irritated. This set didn’t do that. The cleanser, toner, and treatment lotion are all lightweight and non-drying, which I really appreciated.✔ Non-Comedogenic and Soothing – The formulas didn’t clog my pores, which is a huge plus for someone with sensitive skin prone to breakouts. The soothing properties, likely due to the inclusion of La Roche-Posay’s Thermal Spring Water, kept my skin feeling calm throughout the treatment process.✔ Easy to Use – The system’s step-by-step process made it simple to incorporate into my routine. Each product is straightforward, and the packaging is convenient and easy to use.✔ Good for Mild Acne – After using the system for a while, I did notice some improvement in my smaller, more frequent breakouts. It helped reduce the size and redness of my blemishes, which was nice.Cons:✖ Takes Time to See Results – While I saw some improvement, it wasn’t immediate. It took several weeks of consistent use to notice any real changes, which might be frustrating for those who want faster results.✖ Not Strong Enough for Severe Acne – Unfortunately, this system didn’t help much with deeper, cystic acne. My more stubborn breakouts remained persistent despite continued use. If you struggle with acne that’s more than just occasional pimples, this might not be enough to combat it effectively.✖ Pricey for the Results – While La Roche-Posay is known for its quality, I do feel that the price tag for this system might not be entirely justified by the results. Given the amount of time it took for noticeable improvement and the fact that it didn’t work wonders for more severe acne, it feels a bit on the expensive side for what you get.✖ Slightly Drying Over Time – Although it didn’t dry me out at first, after using the products consistently, I did notice a slight dryness around my T-zone, especially after applying the treatment. This may not be a big issue for people with oilier skin, but if you have dry or combination skin, you may need to layer a moisturizer afterward.Final Verdict:Overall, the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Acne Treatment System is a solid option for those dealing with mild acne and looking for a gentle, non-irritating solution. However, it may not be strong enough for those with more persistent or severe breakouts. If you’re seeking quick results, this might not be your best bet, as it takes a little longer to see visible improvement. While it’s effective to some extent, I expected a bit more for the price. 3/5 stars. It’s a decent, gentle acne treatment system, but not necessarily a miracle worker. I’ll continue using it, but I’m on the lookout for something that works faster and addresses all types of acne more effectively.

Use it at night, wake up looking fresh.
I only used it 1 day, and I already see a difference. I was using salicylic acid wipes but it wasnt strong enough and needed something that offers more. I get these horribly hideous little bumps all over my forehead. I wash my face with just regular soap, and then used these wipes. It stung a tiny bit and I got worried but it went away as the solution dried up. I did not get any chemical burns which is what I was afraid off.The #1 thing I dislike is that it leaves a sticky feeling on your face, I really wanted to go wash my face again but I left it. Don't wash it off. I applied all my other regular stuff. ( Hence that's why I gave it 3 star. I absolutely hate that feeling but it's barrable since I want clear skin) after I put my lotion and cream on it kind of made the feeling go away a bit.I woke up this morning, ( oh yeah did I mention I did this at night ... Around 6 pm), and I notice alot of the bumps on my forehead are either gone or have shrunk. Now I don't even know what you call these bumbs. I'm assume it like sweat/ oil that gets trap in the skin but it's different from pimples that are easy to pop, or black heads and it's not cyst acne.I read in my ow research, glycolic acid help alot of people get rid of these bumbs and smooth out the skin. Excellent exfoliator.I'll come back and update this review in a few weeks. Also, the pads may stick together so make sure you're using one and not wasting another lol.WASH YOUR HANDS AFTER APPLYING, don't put it too close to your lips or eyes. And I think that's all I have to say for now.
