These neon cactus lights are handy!
Our pal Stumpy loves his new cactus hands!The ability to power the cactus either from batteries or 5V DC is great because they can be powered by a battery bank / power station / etc. taking ~1.5 watts each.Note: For some reason, running directly off of batteries (with no DC plug) runs the lights brighter and hotter than DC. Not necessarily a problem, but something to keep in mind.

Bought for a teenager's room. Her reaction was appreciative. "Cool." Which is about all you'll get from a teenager. The lamp appears to be very well made, and I'm hoping it will survive a teenager growing up.

Batteries don’t last long and usb connectors just barely reached power outlet so had to use extension cord.I love the look of it but a remote and changeable color of led would be better.

This is so cute in my space. I use it with batteries and it has been working well. It was easy to put together and get going, I will probably order another design soon.

Beautiful GLOW! Cheap construction and cord
Oh my did I really want to eep this unit! I purchased the cactus light and the green glow was stunning with consistent color all the way around the form! But I just couldn't get over the cheap build. The port where the USB cable attached to the base was loose and the base unit was some of the cheapest plastic I've ever seen. Also, the provided cord is just 2' long. So that really limited where I could use the unit with having to drag out another extension cord or forking out more money for a longer cord elsewhere. The packaging was just a plain generic stock-photo box which were I giving this as a gift, looked cheap. But, you get what you pay for. This is just the same unit you'll find elsewhere on Amazon packaged differently.

It's pretty cool!
Was a little disappointed in the size.Info stated it was 26" tall.Not the case, more like 12" which the height was the determining factor.It is bright and found a spot so we kept it.
