great book that has a lot information not only for the exam but it also gives information to learn about linux in general. Great book. It came in great shape.

Textbook is as expected

I cannot speak to how well this may or may not prepare you for the Linux+ or LPIC-1 exam, but it is an excellent instruction book for Linux.

Perfect condition

Do not get the eBook if you need to do the Hands-On Projects. Random pages of the Hands-On Projects are completely blank at the end of a few chapters. The overall scan quality is relatively poor as well, with some pages looking extremely washed out or the text going to the very bottom of the page. I needed to do all of the Hands-On Projects for my class, so I had to refund and get the paperback instead. No issues with the paperback.

I have been using Linux to run my personal servers since 1998. Studying this book has answered so many of my unanswered questions. Reading this will definitely save you some time. There are a few mistakes here and there, so if something produces an error, then just do a Google search for the right way to do something.

A great book for learning Linux, I like it. Though I am only in 3 chapters into the book and brand new to this. SO take that rating for what it is worth, so far, good book in my opinion.
