GREAT DRILL
I am a small women and this drill fits nicely in my hands, works great and I love that it came with an extra battery. I'm also 76 and would rather do my own fix it, build it projects and this drill is being used a lot. You won't go wrong buying it.

The Ultimate Cordless Drill!
TL;DR: This Makita drill outshines my old favorite - compact, reliable, and goes all day. Bye-bye power cords! This drill has stolen my heart! It's a worthy successor to my beloved Craftsman cordless, which served me faithfully for over a decade. But this one, oh, it's even better. Compact enough to sneak into those tight spots and boasting Makita's renowned reliability. Here's the kicker - it's a workhorse that can go all day on one or two batteries. I've got a smart system in place: the depleted battery hits the charger pronto, ensuring the next one is ready before the tool's current battery runs dry. No more wrestling with power cords; it's pure drilling pleasure! 🔋🔩🙌

Powerful and reliable.
Love this drill. Bought it to replace my beloved Craftsman cordless which has served over 10 years. Like this one even better, though. Small enough to get into tighter places. Makita reliability. Works all day long on one or two batteries. I always put the depleted battery on the charger immediately. That way, the next charged battery will be available before the one on the tool runs out. It is such a pleasure not to have to deal with power cords.

Great Tool
Due to stenosis, I can't work and hold anything heavy over my head. I have an older drill/driver that I can't use because of its weight. Did a lot of research and found this Makita is light-weight and decided to try. Am able to do a lot more above my head now than I could before. Great drill/driver.

Good to see Makita quality is still great!
This drill replaces my old Makita from the early '90s. That drill is actually still fine, but the charger dropped from my work table onto the concrete garage floor and stopped working. Given that the old drill still used NiMH batteries (which were getting worn out again), I figured the cost of a new charger plus a couple of new batteries to keep the old drill going would probably cost almost as much as this drill cost on sale, plus the benefits of L-Ion batteries sold me on just biting the bullet. Glad I did - this seems to be as much a trooper as my old drill and just as well built.
