VLAND LED Tail Lights For 2010-2014 Golf 6 MK6 GTI & 2012 2013 Golf R, LED Rear Lamp Assembly with Sequential Turn Signal, Red & Clear lens, Not For Convertible

I bought these about a year ago and honestly couldn’t be happier. They are still bright, no issues, and hey I just got re-ended by a semi truck with a bulldozer on the trailer today and these bad boys ate that and only got a scratch on them. I’d say they’re worth the value fellas.

Fitment is easy, matches up like the OEM tail lights. But then you can see right away they vhange the whole look of the car. Highly recommend tinting your windows too with these. Turn signals are one of the nicest i have seen, wiring is also quick and easy.

I purchased these lights for my wife’s MK6 GTI. Installed them with no issues. (Take the time to pass the harnesses INSIDE the connector tubes to the hatch! Just be patient and it will come out looking factory installed. There are videos on YouTube). I Tessa taped the light harnesses to the factory harnesses and they loook factory. HERE’S THE COMPROMISE: they are not exactly the same size. So they have a slight gap in the body pockets. And the side covers for the inboard lights do not seat well and will fall off. Ours fell off and one broke, while the other got broken when the hatch was closed. So you will have to figure out how to secure them better. Other than that I REALLY, REALLY like them! You can change the left red fog light to a white reverse light by de-pinning and re-pinning one wire (there’s videos showing which wire, and it’s not difficult).

These taillights are actually very nice and the fitment was much better than I expected. I bought these to replace another set that had started fading badly from the sun. When I received these lights I was impressed by how well they fit in the car. The previous set did not fit flush and these fit flush and the LED turn signals & reverse light are equally impressive.

A little bit hard to install but youtube video helps. Cutting the yellow/back cables as you thread it up the rear window will help...tapping it back with electrical. Don't throw away the 2 black pieces of long round-edge plastic ...you will need them at the end....they need to include a diagram....overall very happy with the lights.

Edit (11/07/23): So I reached out to the Manafacturer on their website because I couldn't figure out how to do it on here. I was trying to procure the plastic cover pieces that go on the inside of the light housing. I got the absolute RUDEST response from them in return. I will NEVER do business with them again and am encouraging everyone to do the same. Not only that...but now I have a bulb error code on the right side that I can't get to turn off short of using VAGCOM. Wish I never bought these lights!!! It would be nice if Supernova was still in business...I would of GLADLY paid more for their SUPERIOR product.Edit: To the people complaining about the driver's side reverse light being a different color, there's a wire that needs to be swapped around in the housing (I don't remember which one) to make it the same color. There's a YouTube video on it.Love these tail lights! They add a subtle flair to my golf. The ONLY thing I didn't like are the plastic trim pieces that keep falling out! I don't know how it happened but the right one fell out as I closed the hatch and got broken damn near in half!

Lots of ppl complain about reverse fog light. In America we don't use them. Over the pond law is different. If one of the reverse lights are red match the wire colors of the one that is white easily by removing the white connector retraining clip and gently push a screw driver into the retaining pin and pull the blade out of the clip. Do that for the two odd ball wires and put them back in the way the correct light is. That's it.

Install:You'll need to pull all the hatch trim off to wire the inner lights for the sequential turn signal but it's totally worth it. Fish the wire through the rubber grommet and behind the trim on the sides. I was able to do this all in one evening.Lights themselves:Package was in VLAND packaging. All LEDs worked. Plastic looks to be good quality. Wire connectors were good quality. No warning lights in the dash for bulbs.Fitment:I found the fitment acceptable. Appears flush to the vehicle, one side has like a half mm of play, I was going to add some double sided sticky tape to the back of the tape keep it from wiggling. For the price I have no complaints!
