How do you use this bracelet to count golf strokes? Why is the bracelet divided into 9 beads and then 4 beads?

Black, desert or woodlnd camo, or brown...which is tighter beads? bought one last dec; but dont use as beads slide around too much. thx!

Can I get a smaller bracelet, my wrist are very small?
