Kills Fungus Gnats
This, combined with a contact spray insecticide, is the only product I have found that eliminates fungus gnat infestation and keeps them from coming back. Good product.

The only treatment I've found that works on scale!
These pellets have been the only effective treatment I’ve found for scale insects - the toughest insects to get rid of imho. This systemic formula gets absorbed by the plant and so sucking insects like scale die when they feed on the plant’s stems and leaves. Out of the 15-20 plants I've needed to use these pellets on that had scale over the years, I've only lost 1 plant that was VERY infested with scale and was also particularly susceptible to scale. (I think I could have saved that particular plant if I had the diligence and time to keep inserting a pellet every 2 months as per the instructions.) For the reviewers who didn't see results - this method is very effective, but does take some time for the pellet to break down in the soil and for the plant to absorb the treatment systemically. This is not like a spray that will instantly kill in minutes, but it IS more effective in the long run. If you have a heavily infested plant, you will need to keep treating it with these pellets every 8 weeks. If you want faster results, I would take a soft bristled toothbrush to gently scrub the scale off in addition to treating it with these pellets.Another plus about these pellets is how easy it is to apply a solid pellet instead of granules. Since it’s a pesticide, it’s safer to use a solid pellet instead of granules that can spread and spill or get inhaled while applying. Also, I haven’t found the loose granules to be as effective.I agree that the plastic applicator is flimsy, especially if the soil in your pot is compacted. I use a chopstick - the kind you get when you order Chinese takeout - to bore a tunnel in the soil, then I position the pellet at the mouth of the hole with the tip of the chopstick and push it down the tunnel. This keeps me from touching the pellet. My only complain is with how HARD it has been lately to find these! I'm running out and they are not available anywhere, even from bioadvanced.com.

The only thing that works!
I used to throw out any indoor plant when spiker mites arrived. Thought nothing would kill them. Then a nursery recommended this product. All visual mites were gone, but I use every two months. The plant probably has the mites in the soil but as long as the plant is winning, I can live with that. I grew a ponytail palm (which is delicate) from five inches to four feet.

Useless Applicator
I bought these tablets for my houseplants. Because I noticed that some of them had some gnats or mold. And also it's probably a good idea to give them a little extra plant food every now and again. These tablets come in a blister pack which is smart but also difficult to use. The blister pack fell out of the cardboard backing so I was just holding a giant blister pack in my hand. The applicator absolutely sucked. In fact a couple of the tablets broke off inside of the applicator and I had a really difficult time trying to get the broken tablet out.The directions say that this stuff is not safe to get on your skin and let absorb so I applaud them for trying to use a blister pack and an applicator. But they were just garbage. I recommend people to just wear some nice rubber gardening gloves and finger stuff the tablets down into the dirt. Also because they were in a blister pack and then you have to push them through, each open blister pack hole has a tiny bit of dust left over in it. I have two cats so I didn't want to risk that powdery substance to get on anything that they might be interested in so I had to take outside and Shake It Out.I cannot yet speak for the fertilizing qualities nor the pest control qualities. This is just my initial reaction about the application. I will try to come back and update after a few weeks and see if it has done any good things for my plants.OK, this is an update weeks later. This straight up killed my purple oxalis. It did ok on my heartleaf and brasil philodendrons, pothos, and umbrella tree. It killed part of my majesty palm. It did nothing to my already dying ZZ plant. No gnats. So there's that. But I'm pretty upset about the purple oxalis because that was my prettiest indoor plant I had.

Description noted pack of 5. Recd 4 only, useless applicator
Idk quality or effectivvry since i just recd the order yesterday and planted them right away. I only recd 4 in sealed/vacuum packed plastic. In addition, i could not find a way to contact the vendor, hence this 1-star review hoping that vendor will notice this and will contact me.Like others review: very useless applicator!! They could have added more tablets in place of the invalid applicator.

Plants eat this up!!!
I really feel this has helped my indoor AND outdoor plants. Easy to do - just jam the "pill" into the soil and water. Works like a charm!
