Perfect Replacement
Easy install, fits a bit tighter in the housing than the Samsung branded elements but works just the same and for a tiny fraction of the price! $27 and my dryer is good as new. The branded element is over $100 and that's before adding the thermostat and sensor. Next time I need another element, I'll be back!

Worked for my Samsung dryer
After 5 years, our heating element went out on our Samsung dryer. I looked on Samsung’s website and almost ordered a $100 heating element from them. I am so glad I didn’t! This works perfect and saved me money. Win win in my book!

Happy with the results
Overall Rating of 4/5 stars for two reasons:First off, I'm very happy with the product that I received. All the parts work as expected, and the price is great. I'm a DIY guy, and do not normally open up appliances, except to fix them. I've had to do this twice now on Samsung Dryers (not the same one though). The process is fairly straightforward and not too complicated. This kit includes the Heating Element, thermostat, and two thermal fuses, just as described. However, a 4th 'sensor' that is needed, and may go bad is the Thermistor (part # DC32-00007A). In my recent case, both the Thermistor and Heating Element went bad. Of course you don't find this out until the dryer is spread across the room/hallway. Luckily, I had purchased this kit and another (that included the Thermistor, but no Heating Element). Though the listing does not infer it is a complete kit, and it does not mention the Thermistor; it SHOULD be included as it is just as likely to go out as the Thermal Fuses or Thermostat. The missing Thermistor warranted 4/5 stars for "value for money".I gave 4 stars for "easy to install" as well, because replacing the Heating Element in the Heater Duct was not as easy as I had hoped. (Wear gloves, sheet metal ducting cuts your hands quite easily.) The next time I need to do this repair, I would probably opt for a Heating Element already set in the Heater Duct, for a quicker, easier swap out.I did not rate the longevity, as it has only been installed for 2 weeks. Overall, 4/5 stars. Would repurchase again / recommend to others, but with the note of possible other options out there.

2nd time around
This is the 2nd time we’ve had to replace the heating element, but it’s not too bad once you’ve done it a time or 2. Working great now!!

Poor quality
I replaced my broken heating element after 8 years of constant use. I thought I would give this Amazon one a try because it was so inexpensive and there is a reason it is so inexpensive. It is extremely poor quality. After three loads I was getting all sorts of errors. I took the dryer apart and the wire was welded to another piece of metal. A very poor construction and a huge fire danger. I removed it and brought it to the appliance parts store in my town. They sold me an OEM part and you can really tell the difference. The coils, the weight, just the entire construction is like night and day. I would not recommend the heating elements from Amazon as they are poor construction. Just spend the $90 on an OEM part.

Took about an hour or so with a Phillips bit on my driver.
Perfect for my dryer. Everything was in the box. No special tools. Unplug and pull dryer away from wall. There is no reason to remove the vent hose if you can get to the top of the back top cover. Remove top (4 screws on top rear then pull away from control panel, then lift up), remove control panel (5 or so screws on plastic, lift up. You can leave all wires connected). Remove door (2 screws THEN PULL DOOR HING UPWARD TO LIFT OFF HINGE KEYHOLE SCREW ), remove front panel (4 screws from left, one just above latch then three more from below the latch and under drum opening, pull front panel up then off. DO NOT REMOVE THE LATCH SCREWS OR THE HINGE KEYHOLE SCREW BEHIND THE DOOR HING .The element duct is on the right-bottom. (Remove 2 screws from the duct shelf and retainer screw for the heating element duct). You will need to pull towards the front until it slides out of the rear duct. Manuver the duct by rotating it counter-clockwise while sliding it towards you and slightly under the drum. Lift the front of metal duct SHELF until it's standing with the front of it at the top position. Lift the tabs out of the slots and remove the shelf from the dryer. Rotate the element duct to the right and pull it forward.TAKE A PICTURE OF THE WIRING AND SAVE IT ON YOUR PHONE.Remove the wires from the two limit switches and the element. They will require a lot of jiggling side to side and prying with a flat head screw driver. A pair of needle nose pliers is helpful.Take a picture of the screw locations and screw sizes on the duct then remove the limit switches (2 screws each) and screws holding the (2 screws holding duct together and 4 screws holding the duct and element in place)You will need your needle nose pliers to flatten one or two tabs on each of the element connecters where they poke though the ceramic insulators on the outside of the bottom half of the element duct. You need to push the element connectors towards the outside to expose the very tiny tabs that you need to un-bend (flatten) then pull the connectors out of the ceramic holder. REMEMBER TO BEND THE TABS UP AFTER YOU PUSH THE NEW ELEMENTS THROUGH THE CERAMIC.RE-ASSYMBLE MAKING SURE NO METAL IS TOCHING ANY PARTS OF THE HEATING ELEMENT. THE HEATING ELEMENT MUST ONLY TOUCH THE CERAMIC HOLDERS.DOUBLE CHECK IT MANY TIMES AS YOU REINSTALL IT. REVERSE THE INSTRUCTIONS TO REINSTALL ALL PARTS AND SCREWS.IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT ELECTRICITY AND HOW TO SAFELY WORK WITH ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS THEN DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS REPAIR. DO NOT WORK ON ANY WITH ANY ELECTRICAL DEVICE WITHOUT DISCONNECTING IT FROM THE POWER SOURCE.THIS IS A BASIC OVERVIEW AND INTENDED FOR COMPETENT PERSONS WITH KNOWLEGE OF AND EXPERIENCE IN WORKING WITH ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL APPLIANCES AND WHO PRACTICE SAFETY AND USE THE PROPER PERSONSAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT AND PROCEDURES.
