This unit actually works surprisingly well. We used to have people breaking into our dumpsters. So far with the help of this it scares those off that werent expecting it and those that werent, its loud enough to alert our security to go have some fun with them.Great thing is it shuts up and auto resets after around a min providing no one is still around. Once charged for a day the batteries will have no trouble powering it thru the night even if the alarm has been triggered several times.It's sensitivity is pretty ideal but it still would have been nice to have a little adjustment. You cant really adjust angle or sensitivity but it's pretty well set to avoid falses.Also dont expect the lights on it to be like a spot light or blaring police lights.. It's just a bunch of standard high brightness led's but with that and the siren it gets the point across.And last, tho it's a simple yet effective solution thats low cost it has held up to many surprising rains we have had in Vegas and so far the occasional heat which will soon be unbearable. So it is weatherproof although we will never subject it to brutal cold like some states get.

I installed the unit on the most sensitive level. It alarms as the night visitors come and go. So far i have had repeated visits from a Raccoon, a Possum, and 2 skunks without phasing the night life. The unit alarms when i get anywhere near it. I had high hopes that it would deter our nightlife, but it failed miserably. In 3 days it stopped working and i returned it.

This product worked well for a brief period alarming and chasing off raccoons. Unfortunately it stopped working and I returned it about 1 month after purchase.

Works good. It's loud, but now quite as loud as I expected. The solar charger seems to work fine. If it's cloudy for a few days you can charge it with the included charger wire.

A bear kept getting into my bees. Bought this, set it to only go off after dark, set it about 6 feet off the ground, and about 8 feet back from the hive, facing the hive. It has gone off several times in the last few months. When I go to investigate, there is nothing to be found. No bears, no skunks, no possums... nothing! I have no idea what's setting it off- but my honeybees are undisturbed and safe. Less money and less work than an electric fence! I have been working in the yard near dusk, and set this off several times by accident. I thought I was out of range and/or too far to the side to be detected. It's picking me up more than 40 feet out, and 70-80 degrees off the centerline. This is way more sensitive than I expected! Since I captured 3 more colonies of bees this year, I am back to buy more of these. The only improvements I would suggest is that it be louder and have a white capacitance discharge strobe light. All in all I am very pleased with it's performance.

Worked at first. After a few days alarm would not sound. No recommended.

I bought this as a little added protection for my new chicken coop and I'm happy with it so far. It has detected an animal as small as a housecat and from several feet away. I have it mounted high so it has a good range of view. It is pretty loud but I think the thing that really works for it is how shrill it is. It scares the deer on the other side of the field when it goes off. I've only used the remote for it once but it worked like it was supposed to so that's good. I'm planning on ordering another one for the garden.

I purchased two Comboss Solar Strobe Light with Remote Controller.They worked for a day and then no longer functioned. I have left them in the sun for several days in hopes that they would charge and work but unfortunately nothing. Looks like they will need to be returned and I will need to find something else.

Excelente funcion

This solar-powered product with the remote control is excellent for security and to scare away unwanted guests. This is the second one I bought in order to cover more detection areas. Now, I have peace of mind and do not worry about the garden and the grass anymore as they were impolitely disturbed in the past.
