Best Product Ever!!
I have always been told I could never fly due to issues with my ears that I have had my whole life. I am unable to get my ears to pop therefore going up higher elevations make it unbearable to do. I bought these in 2016 for a trip to Montana/Colorado. We drove up some very high mountains. These ear plugs kept my ears from excruciating pain. I have always had pain so bad I cry for hours when I go up mountains. I was able to enjoy our trip with no pain. There was one day I had terrible pain, but I feel I did not put them in quick enough. I started putting them in two hours before travel and they work! I went to a new ENT who said he believed I could fly, just to wear my plugs. A couple weeks ago for the first time in my life I flew for our 25th anniversary trip! I had no pain on the way there and on the way back! I would never go anywhere without these plugs just in case I have to fly or go up higher elevations! I have very small ears so the children's size fit perfect! These are the best things anyone ever invented! I cannot describe how much pain I experience in my ears without them! If they worked on my very messed up ears they should work for anyone!

Will never fly without these again.
The below is copied from my review of the adult version with a small section related to the kids version. I'm lazy, but the review below applies to both versions ;)I'm in my mid-30s and have never been able to fly without having ear pain raging from 5/10 to 10/10. I have smaller than average Eustachian tubes and the pressure does not equalize for me sometimes at all. Up until this past week, I have always had to bring tons of gum with me, sip water, open/close my mouth, yawn, etc. to get my ears to stop hurting. Sometimes all this works a little, sometimes not at all, but I was always left with some level of pain. I just got back from a trip to Aruba which included 3 flights there and 3 flights back. On the first segment I put them in, didn't have any issues on the ascent but figured it was too good to be true so I waited for the true test: the descent. We got to the gate and the opened the doors and I literally started bawling. I had zero issues. No pain. No frantic scramble to grab a piece of gum when they announced they were starting their descent. None of that. I didn't want to chance it so I left them in for the entire flight each time. I used the same pair for all 3 flights there and switched to a new pair on the way back for the remaining 3 flights just out of caution. There were times when I could hear/feel my ear cracking with the pressure change but had no pain with that at all. My ears were a little sore after taking them out but that's something I will gladly deal with to not have the stabbing ear pain I typically experience.I bought the kids version for my 6 year old daughter who started experiencing trouble/pain on our last trip and she told me that her ears didn't hurt one bit. I will be leaving a review on those as well ( I might be lazy and just copy this review over)Get these, insert them properly, enjoy pain-free flying. These are life-changing.

Works, but still a little large for my ears.
Ok, this product is a little strange. I heard about these as a brief mention during a YouTube video, and since I always end up with plugged ears when flying, sometimes for days afterwards, and was going to be flying in about a month, I looked them up on Amazon and read some reviews. I have small ears, so I looked at the kids version. For me any earbuds, either the large or small, all give me headaches if I wear them very long. So, I got the kids version and hoped that they weren't too small, well, they are not, in fact I think they are still too big. I got headaches using them for the flights, but I preferred the headache to the throbbing, plugged up, can't hardly hear anything for days feeling in my head that I get otherwise. I have never flown before without having plugged up ears for at least a day or two! None of the usual remedies for unplugging ears work for me. So, these worked like a charm, and headache, that goes away by the next morning, is far superior!I wish they made them a little smaller yet, and maybe they would be perfect! My flights were a quick 1 hour, then a longer, almost 4 hour, then another 1 hour flight. For the two 1 hour flights, I left them in the whole time, since we pretty much just go up to cruising altitude and then start the descent. The longer flight, I only wore them during takeoff and landing. On the flight there, I forgot to put them back in right away when we started the descent, and when I started to feel it in my ears, I quickly put them into my ears, and was fine. So, in my experience you don't have to wear them an hour before takeoff or landing, as I think it says in the instructions. I put them in during the descent when I ears had already started feeling the pressure and still didn't get the plugged ears like I would have without them. Another flight, I didn't have one in all the way, and started to feel it in my ears, so I pushed it in farther and ended up taking it out and putting it back in and again was fine, no plugged ears after landing.I highly recommend these to anyone who gets plugged ears for days from flying! Worked wonderfully and I carry them in my purse at all times now, just so that I won't forget them the next time I fly. I also used the same set for all of my flights since they were all within a week. I think the reason why they recommend that they are only used for one set of flights, or within a short timeframe is because of bacteria and other grossness. You are sticking these in your ears, then storing them in the included case or your pocket (I'd recommend the case) and then putting them back in your ears. If the ick from your ears starts multiplying or growing on them in between uses, or they pick up outside contaminants between uses, and you put them back in your ears, that could lead to something unwanted, I don't know if it could lead to an ear infection, but they do seem to go in deep into your ears, so I just wouldn't use them too far apart.I had over the ear headphones that I used on the plane with these in my ears already they hardly stuck out from my ear canal, so they weren't in the way at all, and I could still hear the other passengers, flight attendants, and the movie I was watching. They did muffle the airplane sound some as well, which is nice.Overall, I highly recommend these, and look forward to using them on future flights!

I am finally flying pain-free!
As someone who has suffered from ear pain during air travel my entire life, these have been a miracle! No more trying to pretend I’m not in pain for the last hour of every flight—or struggling in vain to get my ears to clear (so embarrassing as a business traveler).I ordered the children’s size for my small ear canals and they worked like a charm. What a difference for this international flyer! If you’re wondering if they’re worth the tiny cost, do not hesitate! These do exactly what they say they do.Thank you, earplanes, for making my travels painless!
