Good for lighter kids
My daughter is 11 and only weighs 40 pounds. She wanted a pogo stick for Easter so after much research, I bought this one - despite the price - based on the previous reviewers' comments. We also have several Razor products and have been pleased with the overall quality. Well, this morning my daughter was a little hesitant because it looked weird as pogo sticks go, but I assured her that I had researched it thoroughly and this was supposed to be "the best." Well, after several hours of bouncing, she has informed me that it is definitely a 5 star product. Despite her mini size, she gets plenty of bounce. I tried it too at a bit more than 3 times her weight, and found that it was even fun for me! I'm quite impressed with the breadth of weight that this pogo stick can handle. I'm a little concerned with the spring - as it bows out and snaps back, but I'm assuming that the research team adequately researched the design for safety. So far, I'm very pleased with the purchase.

great to be active
This is a great product to get active again. no more sitting in front of the tv. It is very sturdy and made well. Though it is pretty stiff for my daughter. She only weighs 45# and has a hard time getting it to bounce very high. But it will last her a long time and be able to use it as she grows. My husband(6'5" 180#) and myself(5'8" 120#) have both been on it with great success. No squeaking like the ones I grew up with:)The only drawback was that there was not a minimum weight on it. If I had known the spring was that stiff I may have considered something different for my lightweight daughter. But overall and very pleased with my purchase.

Great choice!
I purchased this for our son's 11th birthday. He is small for his age, only weighing about 65 lbs. I didn't want to buy him one of the pogo sticks designed for younger kids (most say for ages 5-9) even though according to weight he fit into that category. I was afraid he would think it was too "little kiddish", but most of the pogo sticks for older kids start at 80 lbs minimum. The Bogo Pogo does not state a minimum rider weight, just a maximum of 140 lbs, so I was a little worried he might not be heavy enough to make it work properly. He took right to it, however, and has been having a great time. The second day he had it, he jumped 2011 times in a row on it! After that, he got bored with counting and started trying some tricks and going for height. I don't have much experience with other pogo sticks, but this one seems to work great for him!

Takes quite a bit of weight...
We bought this for our grandson for Christmas in 2011 and he STILL hasn't been able to ride it. It looks like a great pogo stick; his older brother can kind of get it to work, and, of course, Dad can, but our little guy can't. His birthday is in December and he was 6 on Christmas, but he is not small for his age. As I said, he still can't make it pogo, and he is now 50 to 60 lbs or so. The mechanism is really tight, so if you are getting it for a little one, consider "breaking it in" first.

The banged and bruised knees are for real
Let me start by saying this is the first review I ever wrote on any product, so you can surmise that something major has prompted me to do so now. I read the comments about bruised knees but I thought it was related to child's age, or improper use. Razor has such a good reputation for quality items, I couldn't imagine them putting out a product that would cause injury with propoer use. Unfortunately the issue is real. My 13 year old and 8 year old both ended up with serious bruising on the inner knees after only 5 minutes use. Really, only 5 minutes. The front power bar bangs the inner knee with each jump. The fact that this happened with my 13 yr old tells me its not inexperienced users that have the problem. Critical design flaw. On the positive side, the construction was solid and the bounce was high. Unfortunately the knee banging and bruising is unacceptable and can not recommend to anyone. Razor should remove this from the market.

DON'T buy this Razor BoGo Stick
We read a lot of mixed reviews prior to buying this for our 10 year old son, but I wish I had listened to the ones saying about injuries and NOT bought this. I'm not talking about injuries from using the BoGo stick by falling off, I'm referring to the reviews about the kids getting bloodied and bruised knees. My son used this for a couple days and said he wanted to return it because it hurt his knees so bad, and when we looked at his knees they were so bruised from banging into the bar, we agreed it had to go back. We made sure he used it correctly and wasn't misaligned on the stick and that the red bar was facing outward, but still his knees banged hard into the metal bar. The stick itself works great and gave him a lot of bounce and fun...however listen to the people like me who say they will get bruised...THEY WILL. This is getting returned :( If anyone has had similar experiences with this stick and found another brand of pogo stick that won't injure my child, please email me because I would love to know what it is. My son is really disappointed because he wanted a pogo stick. Thanks! :)

Quality Item!
Got this for my 9 year old for Christmas. He LOVES it! We tested it out in the store along with the other pogo sticks offered. This one proved the highest quality. Sturdy and durable; even I had no problem maneuvering it. He wears his helmet while using it and we have no complaints about this great purchase. Worth the money. We also have the Razor Spark Scooter; another great buy!

Quality is great for price
Really sturdy. Well constructed. Only been using for a week (but using daily) my 10 yr old daughter loves it. Nice easy bounce. Can go high if she wants or just a nice steady bounce. Very happy. The red bar that people have complained about...not sure how it caused any issues.
