Signature Design by Ashley - Mestler Rustic Coffee Table w/ Fixed Multi-Colored Shelf, Brown

Table is exactly as pictured & perfectly compliments all of my other Mestler pieces. Came packaged very securely in a oversized box, although the box had a few beat up spots on it, once unpacked the table was in perfect condition safely packed in thick styrofoam and padding. The FedEx guy brought it right to my door and I had him just set it inside the door frame since the box is very large and awkward to carry, I was able to slide it in easily. Due to the awkward large size and weight I would say it would be easier to maneuver with 2 people to carry the box to where you plan on assembling it. Table is easy to put together, all hardware and allen wrench included, took less than an hour to unpack and put together. Looks beautiful, very well made, solid/sturdy construction, legs are level, nothing wobbles etc. I will note that it does have a "smell" to it as noted in other reviews, however I would say it's not particularly strong, it smells like the stain they used on the wood and I would imagine as with all newly stained furniture the new smell will go away soon.

This table was perfect for my needs. Its a warm, dark brown finish with muted, colored slats on the bottom shelf. The color is not espresso...it is definitely brown, medium to dark depending on the light in the room. The bottom shelf slats are not bright or distracting, they are warm and muted and look nice in a room with earth tones. They are also textured, not rough and do not splinter. As a matter of fact, my dog loves to sleep on the bottom shelf which is testament to the smooth feel of the wood. I was on the fence about purchasing because of the colored slats, but they don't scream at you and actually add a bit of character.This is a pretty big coffee table. Its 42 inches long, 28 inches wide and 18 inches tall. Its very nice looking and holds up well...perfect for a room that is used often. It has a rugged look to it and its made out of real wood. It looks very nice and is really sturdy. Its not too heavy but would support quite a bit of weight. Mine came with a couple of little dings, but they're not bad enough to return. Its definitely worth the price. I would recommend.

Already had a friend say they really like the table.*Easy to assemble*Can be assembled alone*Nice classic wood finishI dont have any issues with bottom shelves having separate colors, I figured its to give it a worn out look. Its sturdy once constructed, but you can use the bottom shelves for books, magazines, pillows or living room blankets. The bottom shelf size is big enough to accommodate a large/tall size microwave inside its own box (just to give an idea of shelf size). Once constructed the item is solid and has weight. Which is a positive.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife apparently our coffee table, while it still holds drinks just fine, looks too distressed.... So she wanted this one that comes pre-distressed looking. Anyways here are my pros/ consPros-It IS a beautiful table, took only about 5 Mins to put together, comes with an h5 Allen key but I used power tools. Size and color is spot on, I really like how it looks. Legs have plenty of room to be adjusted to make the table sit levle where you have it so that was nice.Cons-I didnt appreciate it coming with the wholes for sliders but no sliders for the legs in the box. Either put them with it or don't drill the holes for them. It's just asking to scratch my wood floors.It came a little too distressed, as shown in the images. The hardware is stapled to the bottom, sure, it won't get seen, but I really don't like ripping holes into a brand new 130 dollar table.Also there are scratches in both the bottom and the top, and yes they are on the bottom again but still, I expected it to be nearly perfect. Box did not have any damages so I assume it was prior to boxing.

This table is perfect for my living room. The colors are much brighter than shown in the picture, more white, blue, green, and yellow. This worked very well for my color scheme, however, so it was a pleasant surprise to me. The color of the wood is a nice color, not too dark, not too light. The grain gives it a more rustic feel, which will also hide small scratches. In fact in the few months I've had it, I don't think it has scratched, and the cat likes to jump off of it. There is some assembly, but it wasn't too difficult with the instructions. It did take two of us at some point to hold up one piece and attach the other. I have a small living room. This table is a good size. It is deeper than some others I looked at, so the top surface has a decent sized footprint. Having the bottom area is nice to store magazines or blankets. Great table, I get a lot of compliments on it.

I am so impressed with this coffee table! It is real wood which is amazing considering the price I paid. Everything else I saw at this price point was particle board or MFD with veneer. This is solid wood that is stained. I could smell the stain as soon as I opened the box. :) assembly was super easy. The top and bottom were all one piece. The only thing I had to do was attach the legs. It is very sturdy. As other reviewers have said, the bottom shelf is much brighter in color than the stock picture listed by the seller. However, I took this into consideration and love it. This table is well worth the price!

I’m somewhat disappointed. It appears this item was repaired at some point on the top. There is a piece in one side that I need to glue because there is a piece pulling off and on the reverse side it’s like the stain was missed. If it wasn’t meant as a rustic piece and the fact that it took 3 1/2 months to get it I would not have kept it!
