Got this as an activity to do for myself and gift to my parents for Christmas. I picked the Koi picture. It came out very well and was much more realistic/detailed compared to other PBNs that I've done. I wish they had more similar ones.

Great kit. Purchased for a friend and she loved it. They numbers are written on the canvas and there is also a "cheat sheet" to use as reference. The paint is great and the paint brushes are average. They are not high quality,but they get the job done. Canvas is thick and can easily be framed. Great workmanshipGreat project for teens and adults alike.

Very easy to read and use. Not quite sure how to get the creases out of the canvas and there’s nothing in the instructions that tells you how to remove them. The kit comes with three paint brushes but I bought additional brushes. Really fun and easy to use! The completed painting looks much better than I thought it would.

I struggle with giving this between three and four stars. It is a pretty picture, but it was a little tedious to complete. Some of the distinctions in Color were completely unnecessary and you'll figure that out as you go. There's like five or six versions of white, off-white, beige, that make absolutely no difference to the final product. I think it's because a computer must predict when a color change happens or something. Save yourself some time and ignore a lot of the small white changes along the borders. But I digress . my major complaint with this is threefold. 1) some of the paints completely dried up. I had to put this project away for a few months and came back to it. Even paints that I hadn't opened were dry by then. You can add water to revitalize them, but since this is such a detail-oriented project it's hard to use those diluted Paints in the small areas. 2) especially with the whites, numbers and lines were very hard to cover. Expect to paint many areas two to three times over.3) and this is a big one. The final finished area is more like 19.5 in by 15.5 in. If you try to frame it with 16 x 20 stretcher bars you're going to have huge white areas. If you pay for the weird size of 15 by 19 stretcher bars , be very careful because the tail or head may get cut off. For a cheap little project you don't want to end up spending big bucks on a custom frame. I went with 15x19 in the end.. Tail a bit cut off

so this is SUPER SUPER intense, it look me like a whole 6 hours to do the left eye but it's really calming and the colors are vibrant and they aren't dry. The whole head took me like 2 days, haven't started the body yet because it's a lot. The brushes work just fine, i did have to trim them but the final product is starting to look just like the image, super amazing, highly recommend! (unless you're very impatient because it's very intricate and takes forever and sometimes you feel like you want to just paint it all one color)

I've done several paint by numbers and I have to say this is the best quality one I've had so far. The paints are thick and the coverage is great. They also give you plenty of paint.. No issue with running out before you're done. This kit comes with brushes. I can't speak on the quality of those, I have my own professional brushes that I use.
