Nice looking, big jar. Easy to clean and fast brewing.

We had previously had a Mr. Coffee maker. The newer design is somewhat more cumbersome to load the basket and is defiantly cheaper made. The coffee brewer leaks on to the hotplate when you remove the pot even after all brewing is complete.

This coffeemaker is well-designed, stylish, and compact. But unfortunately makes very weak coffee in its default setting. Its saving grace is the Strong Brew setting. It slows down the brewing time a bit, but makes a much stronger, more delicious cup of coffee than the regular setting.I like the fact that there is a separate opening for pouring the water in so it doesn't accidentally spill into the filter basket. It also keeps the coffee very hot for longer periods of time. Also, not a lot of water evaporates during the brewing process so the amount of coffee brewed ends up being pretty close to the amount of water poured in the reservoir.If you don't mind using the Strong Brew setting on a regular basis, this coffeemaker is a decent buy.
