This hair sponge is great for creating twists and dreads in naturally curly hair.I have created twists in my son's hair through manually twisting sections with my fingers. While this works, it is also very time consuming. The sponge by Cherir is very effective at creating a similar look without taking the same amount of time.I watched a YouTube video to determine how to use the sponge which was helpful. The technique I followed that worked for me was to rub conditioner into his hair and wait 1 minute. Then I rubbed the hole side of the sponge against his head in a circular motion. The longer you rub, the more defined the curls will get.Highly recommend this product.

This sponge is amazing and give my son a curly top within 2-5 minutes, the longer you use it the more defined yours curls will be. When his barber used it and recommend that I get it he applied curl activator gel to my son hair and because it flakes up when I got home I washed his hair and only used my water bottle that has water in it with aloe Vera gel, sweet almond oil, apple cider vinegar & vegetable glycerin. Once we spray this on his hair it moisturizes it and curl right up with the sponge after rubbing in a circular motion for a few minutes. When I was his age in 1993 all the boys had curly tops but they used the curl activator spray on their hair and it curled right on up, this sponge was not even thought of but now his hair can stay in its natural state and use my hair products along with this sponge. My son is 13 & in the 8th grade and rates this sponge 5⭐️😊

I used this for fast curls out of the shower. Quick and easy to use. Best used with a moisturizing product to avoid hair breakage.

It works pretty well, quality is good but I can tell the handle(Top part) will come off eventually. My only issue is that it is too stiff. It doesn't form to the shape of your head.It just straight and flat.I still use a normal yellow sea sponge which is not enough to form to the shape of my head. I think this works best for me but I use The Cherir Sponge as a backup.

Works as advertised. Use big firm circular motions with moisture or gel. Does begin to shed very small particles of foam after usage over time.

Arrived on time - very quickly. Was a bit surprised by the size... a bit large. But it definitely does the job.

Great, simple product - gives my husband the style he's looking for with his hair. Note: the product works best with a certain maximum length of hair. Longer hair might not give as consistent of a result.
