Absolutely Amazing!!
First I received it very quickly and packaged well. Now on to the review - It is absolutely amazing - every song from start to finish, the quality is very well done (but i am not an expert on the production of a DVD) but it sounds and looks great on my big screen. Michael is in top form on this tour and looks very fit, Simon is amazing on drums, the quiet and subdued Neil is great on Bass, and I think the other guitar player is Wayne (Sorry i dont have it in front of me as I type this)he and Michael are very much in tune together, Gary's voice lends very well to Michael's playing and he sounds better than 30 years ago. its like the band had fairy dust sprinkled on them before they got on stage as they play as a very tight machine on every song. The crowd you can tell loves them and is on their feet through the video. Michael's solo on Rock Bottom is the best I have ever heard and I have Strangers in the Night, if you didnt know it was 30 years later you would think it was 1979, if you are a MSG/Schenker fan you have to get this as well as the CD. You will truly value it for your collection. Each member of the band also speaks about the tour and band, and their career, so it is reallt interesting to hear from them all. It truly is wonderful to see Michael looking so happy and so fit and playing so beautiful:) LOVE IT!!! MS fans lets all support Michael's efforts to bring us his passion in top form - if you love Michael you gotta get it :)

Great show and Blu-ray quality
This is a great concert with Simon and Gary from the original lineup. The band is really tight and my head was bobbing to the music which is a good sign. Michael is playing in top form and Gary's voice is pretty good. The video footage is excellent: Camera angles are good and the editing is smooth and doesn't continually change every second. They focus on Michael and his hands when he solos. The sound quality is good in 2-channel PCM. I don't have a surround system currently to report on the 5.1.They play many songs from the first 2 MSG albums and a few UFO songs. Song choice is good in my opinion. The extra footage with rehearsals and band interviews was great too. Michael is a really cool and creative guy. It was great to listen to him speak about himself and his career. My only nitpick was Gary does too much audience sing along at a few points. That doesn't work for a live video as well as when you are in the audience. If you like vintage MSG you can't go wrong with this.

A First Rate Concert DVD - Michael Schenker at his Finest!!!
Not only is Michael Schenker and the rest of the band in top form, the production quality of this DVD is excellent. Great editing, cuts, close-ups, etc. Sound is great! I've seen Michael live many times (the last in June 2009) and his playing on this DVD is the best I've seen him (tied with when he was back with UFO in approx. 1995). Any guitarist wishes they could be half as good as Schenker, and for him to be playing at this level when he's 55 is incredible. My only complaint about the DVD is the singer, Gary Barden, is a goof with his ad libbed comments. A couple of songs in he says something like "ok, sit back and relax, we have a lot of songs to get through." What??!!! He makes it sound like a long dental appointment. And this DVD is anything but. It is a blistering set of the best of MSG, with a couple of UFO classics added in. (I also wish "Lights Out" was included, but that's a small quibble.) MSG rocks out on this DVD, and once again showcases Michael Schenker as one of, if not THE best rock guitarist of all time.

Incredible!
This couldn't be any better. The sound quality is LOUD and awesome, unlike most concert dvd's that even when the sound quaity is good, they don't seem loud enough. I had to actually turn this down from the norm because it was cranking. Not complaining though... I'll put this a nut-shell! This concert is perfect. The best concert dvd I have and have ever heard. Wish I could give it 10 stars. Michael has never been better and the band is awesome. And Gary Barden still sounds like he 25. Simon Phillips is amazing, and Neil Murray and Wayne Findlay are a perfect rythem team. I hope this line up stays together for a loooong time. It's a great surprise to get a concert dvd that really is awesome through and through. Can't wait to see them when they come around here. Just got word that I won 2 tickets. YEAH!

Top Quality....
This is a top caliber concert blue ray.The video is clear and brite. Michael is looking healthy and happy playing the flying V. If You are a UFO fan there is songs for you. Michaels clear solo's were clear as hell comming from the center channel. He is in a groove the whole show. Simon Wright on drums adds alot to the show. Gary Barden sounds refreshed, Being the beginning of the tour helps with any singer. Setlist is good the song (On And On) Is my favorite of the set. IMO I think it's the best Metal riff ever. If youre a Schenker fan or UFO fan this is a must have.I was skeptical because I want good audio. And I was pleasantly surprised.I saw this tour so it even makes it that much more enjoying. If you are a guitarist fan you will like.

Some of the Original Band Members Together Again
Like most Michael Schenker concerts, you can rely on hearing many of the most popular songs from across the band's catalog. In this case, singer Gary Barden and drummer Simon Phillips from the original MSG album, along with Neil Murray on bass and Wayne Findlay on rhythm guitar and keyboards, support Michael "Shredder" infusing new life and energy into a lot of timeless old songs. The audio and video quality of the Blu-Ray are absolutely amazing and the performances tie it all together for an unsurpassed live concert experience. Barden's voice is as strong as it ever was for those of you who might be wondering. This is so much better than the MSG 2004 World Tour DVD, which I bought when it was released. A royal rock retrospective of MSG awaits you. Enjoy!
