In the 12 days that I have had this watch it hasn't lost or gained a second, which is impressive. It is a sharp looking watch. Case seems to be of decent quality, though I would be suprised if it was solid stainless. Love the watch face. Dial has a decent sunburst finish. Mickey and numbers are slightly raised but I cannot tell if they are applied - my guess is that the face is lazer cut or CNCed then painted. They look metalic so I could be wrong. Leather band is suprisingly well made. Have seen worse bands sell for $30. Be advised this is a larger watch that will not work for children and may be too big for adults with smaller wrists. Likewise the band might be too small for those with larger wrists. It looks like an expensive watch. Very impressive for the price. Other itterations came with a signed crown. This would have been a nice addition. Seems like a decent watch. I usually spend at least $100 for watches in my collection and this one will still see wrist time.

My wife has always wanted a nicely made Mickey Mouse watch that had a quality feel and look to it. Since this is an official supplier for Disney I knew that they wouldn't risk their international reputation for quality by putting out a cheap watch. So when it popped up as an Amazon Lightning Deal, I checked out the pictures and reviews and decided that this might be the one. It came securely packed in a presentation box inside of an outer cardboard sleeve with a warranty manual included. Upon opening the box I was immediately impressed with what a beautiful watch this was for such a small amount of money. It is very colorful with outstanding graphics, a shiny chrome background, and easy to read numerals. Although it has a large (44mm) dial, it is lightweight and comfortable to wear. Yes, it is made in China. But Disney obviously is concerned with its image and reputation and has selected a supplier who no doubt built the watch totally to Disney's specifications. Contrary to common belief, there are some skillful and conscientious vendors in China. Any supplier with a Disney contract is unlikely to disappoint them with an inferior product. The watch comes with a one year limited warranty and the battery life is expected to be around 18 months. Any reliable watch battery supplier should be able to replace the battery for a few dollars when needed. And what did my wife say when she opened the box? "Oh Mickey! You're So Fine You Blow My Mind."

Gold face on my watch is not matte like shown on image, but shiny and reflective. Minute markings are not distinct like shown on image, but very indistinct and placed on the extreme outer edge of the face dial. Watch is large in diameter, which is what I wanted, the newer style these days. Fairly easy to read, too, considering Mickey's hands are the hands on the watch. Black band is VERY stiff, not slightly stiff. Will not buckle on the tightest setting on my wrist because it's too stiff to bend to that severe angle. I'm hoping it will wear in over time. Sweep second hand makes the watch more professional looking, but still whimsical, which is what I wanted. Playful but not childlike. For me, it makes a great statement, a fun play watch, which I get a bit of a hoot out of wearing. Just got it, so don't know if the build quality is good, but it seems very good at first glance. I hope it lasts a long time. Update: Gave up on the band. Bought another one, a bit softer. The new band cost more than the watch. Now, it's set up properly.

I cannot believe this beautiful watch is only $30. All my friends love it, they asked me how much did it cost...I say, guess...and most say they think it's about a $200 watch...and when I tell them the actual price, they just can't believe it, now they all want one, lol. I truly love the size, a true men's sized watch. Love the Art Deco look...it has that vintage look, very classy looking, not loud or corny. This Mickey Mouse actually commands respect, lol. Despite its large size, it's very lightweight, I hardly feel in on my wrist. Speaking of wrists, I read people complaining that the leather strap (and it is real leather by the way) is rather small. Perhaps for a huge bodybuilder or large hefty person. But I have thin wrists for a big guy, only 6.5 inches. I'd say the leather strap is good for up to 7.5 inches or so. Any bigger than that, and you would have to get another strap for it. The leather strap is gorgeous as well, has a satin finish (not tacky gloss), and mimics that of crocodile, very tasteful looking. This watch certainly gets comments, more so than my $500 Seiko Diver, lol. So go ahead, get one, only a measly $30...for something that easily looks much more expensive.

I bought this watch as a gift for an adult male Disney fan. I was looking for something that was fun without being too childish and this vintage Mickey Mouse watch was perfect. The watch is very nicely made and feels high quality in the hand. It has a genuine leather band, a crystal face, and a stainless steel back. It's also water resistant to 3ATM (about 30 meters), but I doubt you'll want to take it underwater since it has a leather band. So far it's kept perfect time. The face of the watch is beautiful, with lots of detail and great finish. The numerals are large and easy to read and there is a second hand. One nice detail is a silhouette of Mickey's head on the watch's crown. The watch is not heavy or cumbersome when worn. The face is about 2.75 inches in diameter and a little less than 1/2 inch tall. It's the perfect size for an adult male but will probably be too large for women and young children. All in all...a fun, but classy Mickey Mouse watch. 03/13/2013 Update: Less than a month after owning the watch the crystal for the face popped out. It wasn't cracked or damaged in any way. It just popped out, and would not secure back in. We exchanged it for another from Amazon. Hopefully this one will be better built.

Lets make one thing clear. This is not a expensive watch. You will not get a sapphire crystal. The sweep second hand probably will NOT hit each second index marker dead on. There is no documented proof that the case is stainless steel. There is no marks on the case denoting any water resistance. There is no instruction manual. This is a basic no frills watch. It's quartz movement pretty much guarantees an accuracy of 15 to 20 seconds a month. The watch is attractive and belies is sub 50 dollar price tag. As long as you temper your expectations, you will not be disappointed. However, if you are expecting perfection, you need to temper your expectations. The cost of replacing the battery can easily exceed 1/3 to 1/2 the purchase price making battery replacement not very cost-effective. But if you are looking for a basically disposable watch that is good looking, reasonably accurate and fun to wear. You can certainly do worse than this.

I had a Mickey Mouse watch when I was a child, and always enjoyed it. So years later I decided to get an adult version and relive some of those memories. I really like this watch, especially its size. The dial is large, so it makes reading the time easier. The hour hand has a slight bend in the elbow to distinguish it from the minute hand (plus its slightly smaller as are all hour hands). It doesn't come with a date function or illuminating/glow in the dark feature, but that is not important (at least for me). The watch band is 22 mm, so it has a nice size to it. It has a nice silver shine to it, so it looks stylish even when wearing a business suit. I get lots of compliments on it at business meetings! The black watch band has a slight alligator look to it, but is made of leather. You can always add a dressier, more expensive watch band if you wish. I will wait until the watch band is on its last days before I decide to replace it. All in all, I am very happy with the watch, especially the price.

This watch came in exactly as described. It's big and beautiful. As mentioned before, the band is stiff but should slack a bit with wear. If it's important to you, it's a very silent watch - even with my ear glued to it I can't hear the second hand going around. All in all, very happy!
