Lovely, quality, parasol suitable for the larger garden as is taller than we expected - needs to be put in sheltered area when wind / storms arrive as can blow over. Is very heavy to put back upright.

Nice construction and operates well opening and closing, LEDs work nicely too (read below as you need to connect Solar Cell). Remember to get a good stand as this is quite large, and make sure the lower pole is tightly screwed into the top section as it can undo with a light breeze (should be lowered when windy or raining according to a warning notice I had).Fabric is reasonably thick and provides a nice shade. I’ve not been out long to check if the UV protection works well, but, if you have fair skin like me you’d still use sun screen.As some helpful people have pointed out the LED solar cell isn’t connected and won’t work out of the box. To connect the solar cell unscrew a quarter turn and you’ll have as photos provided. Check pins align before connecting as I needed to straighten two of the pins on mine parasol. Easily done with a thin plastic flat edge (obviously use a non conductive material), once aligned it plugs in smoothly (for some reason my instruction did not cover this and think some of the instructions may have been missing).

I would urge people to read the instructions when the long package arrives because you have to connect the solar panel to the lights when you first unpack it. The Parasol is quite large and you have to make sure that the thicker pole will fit into your table or base. The LED lights in the parasol provide a nice, soft light for those late summer evenings when it starts to get dark. The light is not perhaps bright enough to eat your dinner by, but is perfect whilst you are chatting and sipping a glass of fine red wine. Good value product and I am a well pleased customer

The umbrella itself is OK. Putting it together was annoying because of how poor the thread was to screw the bottom and top pole together. Took 10 minutes just to do that. However, the LED lights never worked despite me doing everything the instructions said. I unscrewed the top to connect the solar power panel cable. But nothing. left it all day in the sun with the switch ON but they clearly don't work.Complained to the seller and got no response. Complained to Amazon who said they'd give me a refund but 1 month later I'm still waiting.

We really like this parasol, it arrived earlier than expected which was a bonus as the weather is so hot. Love the lights and it’s just perfect In every way.

The most irritating brolly I’ve ever purchased !!! Every time I go to raise it l have to relocate the fabric pockets back onto the metal struts and that in itself is not that easy !
