Heavy, small, and probably functionally okay but crudely made that I probably wont install on my nice bike.

This fender rack will fit newer bikes (2022 Forty Eight) WITH small modifications. The angle of the mounting bracket is slightly off on the newer models but a few minutes with a hammer will adjust it easily. Do yourself a favor and make a rubber gasket to go between the rack and the fender other wise it will scratch it terribly. Because the mounting points are in the center, I wouldn’t trust the rack as a single strapping point but it works well to keep luggage off the fender when strapping to a sissy bar. I purchased knurled seat screws separately so I can take this on and off without tools.

I purchased this to put on my 2019 HD Iron 1200 just to add a little extra space to carry what won't fit into the saddlebags. It contours with the back fender so it doesn't stand out, stick out or take away from the visual aspect of the bike. It is PERFECT!! Quality is high and sturdy and the holes on my bike lined up perfectly - no mods needed. I did also order black bolts to blend in but you can use the existing chrome bolts that are on the bike. I would absolutely recommend this over the HUGE cost of ordering the Harley Davidson ones. Just to compare - this rack is the same width and less than 2" shorter in length than the one from Harley Davidson at a FRACTION of the COST!

Installed in about 3 minutes. Looks just as good as the HD dealer's $300 USD version. For this price, I expected blown out welds and a bad paint job, but even up close, the thing looks darn good!

Received this, opened it and promptly stabbed my finger with a sharp piece of weld wire sticking out of a weld point. Obviously, the maker has limited quality control on their products. I cut the sharp point off and installed the rack. It did not come with any paint protection so I fabricated some stick-on rubber gaskets to go against the painted surface of the fender. I would not recommend the product. Too bad, I have had a lot of success with stuff here. This the first item I regret getting.

Nice affordable little luggage rack for 2014 iron 883n! It fits either direction. I did make a little leather pad to use under it so it won’t scratch paint.
